Yâall step outa the chat, I grew up this way, I grew up in rural nj with a large family, all homeschooled. We lived in a farmhouse next to a field and woods, we would tap our suger maple trees and make our own maple syrup. We had bees for honey, a huge garden and chickens, my dad worked a mile down the toad a historical farm called Howell living history farm, we basically grew up there , playing in the streams and feeding the animals and climbing the trees, no joke!!! So while âcottagecoreâ is a trend remember itâs how some people grew up!! đ

But I can relate I live on the outskirts of a small village (yet we still call it a town) I grew up outside practically tho we went to a small public school. A lot of people I know have farms and raise chickens and we have a field in our backyard. Itâs wonderful in the summer.
