Hey, I’m still absolutely loving your salt shampoo tip. My handful of salt in my normal shampoo during my weekly (🥴) hair wash has been amazing! It feels way cleaner and shinier and I barely use any dry shampoo now between washes. I haven’t found a leave in conditioner yet but just slather on my normal one from the pound shop afterwards! I’m now on the look out for a pretty jar from a charity shop to store salt in my bathroom 🖤Thanks 🥰xox

LOL, I just told her the same thing. Great minds must think alike 😉 I just got the Etude House Dr. Mascara Lash Fixer with the pink writing (clear formula). It is just a cheap lash primer, ($5 USD) but I AM AMAZED!! My lashes now hold a curl all day and even my Essence Princess mascara doesn't flake.
Next I want to try some of these mascaras: Etude House Lash Perm Mascaras, KISSME Heroine mascaras, and Clio Kill Lash mascaras. I am not as familiar with Peripera but would love to know if there are any you have tried or would recommend.

The black and green essence mascara is my holy grail !!! Before I put it on I have the tube rest between my thighs or under my arm so the products warms up a bit for a smoother application.

Definitely needed this video👏🏾🙌🏽I wear contacts and so many high end mascaras ive tried crumble and get in/on my eyes/contacts causing really bad irritation. So I decided to go back to drug store mascaras , but I dont want to go on a mascara purchase spree lol

I've used 2 out of these three and I agree completely, they are great. Lash discovery is my favorite. It does hold a curl even in the most humid, steamy environment.

@elitabaumane958 No, absolutely no flakes for me. I avoid flaky waterproof mascaras like the plague :D It's the mascara that i would love to have a lifetime supply of. But there are so many others to try! :S
The SHEGLAM double ended all in one volume and length mascara is the only one that I have found that doesn't leave me with panda eyes, it is a bit of a drier formula (which I prefer) and it is budge proof. One end has a thicker brush with bristles and allows me to build the lashes to look thick and full and the other end is a thinner rubber brush with a slight curve which offers me extra length. one coat with each brush and I'm done for the day.

I love the L’Oréal Lash Paradise waterproof mascara! I’m currently using and loving the Lancôme Monsieur Big waterproof mascara. Got it on sale so it was closer to a drugstore price. It holds my curl and doesn’t smudge on my oily skin!

It's funny I have been collecting and experimenting with makeup for 20 years and in that 20 years I have NEVER found a high end mascara that I like more than their drugstore counter parts

Will try the Maybelline one, but I do love/use the Essence mascara. They're cheap, but works. I have the water proof one. It can get clumpy, so maybe the regular one is better and easier to remove, but due to the humidity, I need water proof mascaras.

NikkiaJoy, have you tried a K-Beauty mascara primer? Etude House Lash Fixer completely holds the curl all day no matter what mascara you use and it is only like $5. No smudging or flaking either.
I have long thin fine sparse lashes and nearly all mascaras weigh them down and I lose my curl. They end up hitting my sunglasses and tangling with my lower lashes. Now I just do a quick coat of Lash Fixer after curling and NO MORE DROOPING!!

I have the Sky High mascara but I still reach for the Lash Paradise. I have also tried Essence and somehow doesn't reach for it too. I don't know why but L'Oréal Lash paradise worked better on me 😔
Oh and one more thing, thank you so much for recommending the Too Faced Born This Way Matte Foundation. I love it so much! It really does help with super oily skin and doesn't clog my pores like Estee Lauder double wear does. I use the Supergoop Unseen sunscreen with it. It's going to be my holy grail. I hope you got the Perfect Diary Waterproof Loose Powder. If not, I can send it to you. It's been my favourite for controlling my oily skin and keeping my makeup matte for longer hours. My makeup doesn't stain my face mask at all for more than 4 hours.
I always have issues with my makeup rubbing off onto my masks especially around my nose area since it's super oily. Then I would end up with a pinker nose after the face mask wiped the makeup off my nose. Now I don't have this issue anymore. 😊

First time I bought the Maybelline sky high mascara I was disappointed, it did the job and my lashes were full but it dried up in TWO days! After that I wasn’t sure of spending money again on something that would dry up so quickly.

I know literally everyone lives the sky high, but I personally didn’t have a great experience. I do love the L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara!!! I’m battling finding the right foundation still to this day unfortunately. I watch soooooo many videos trying to find the right one. Fingers crossed one day I will lol 🤞🏼😁
I think it’s a trial and error, elimination process lovely! I’m loving double wear, Dior back stage and nars light reflecting at the minute 🥰🥰🥰🥰
What dont you like about the ones you have? If you want them to be more sheer, mix them with a hydrating primer. If you want them to have spf mix them with sunscreen. If you think they look thick and dont wear the best, try spreding them out over the skin un a very thin layer with a flat buffing brush, if they are too matte mixing with either a sunscreen or an illuminating primer will fix that. Too dewy? Mix it with a little powder or perhaps a mattifying primer might work. Etc
Definitely trial and error. Yeah, there is always something with them. Color, dryness, separation, so on. I’ve been watching videos trying to learn. Thanks so much for the tips ladies 🥰 I will definitely use them! Try to get what I have to work first 😁

Maybelline sky high and Essence lash princess are the best 👌, if there is one area where i would say save your money it's mascara, I've tried highend and i like some of them but you can find drugstore that work just as good

I have to try that Essence one. I tried Discovery and it did nothing for me. But I didn't try the waterproof one. I use Loreal Lash Paradise waterproof (and Urban Decay Perversion and Too Faced Better than Sex waterproof). An old one I used to use and love is Rimmel Lash Accelerator. Actually I need to try that again I remember loving it.

My absolute favourite mascara is Mcobeauty lashXtend it's a tubing mascara and it doesn't flake or run. I tried the essence lash princess with the green writing but it flaked and ran on me

Awesome suggestions. I used to have the longest most beautiful lashes and I don’t know if it’s medication (auto immune) or if it’s menopause but now they seem to want to grow straight out and down and none of my mascaras (and I have MANY) seem to be able to KEEP them up! I even try the dryer trick and curling them again after mascara is on and dried and they still fall down it’s so annoying!!!!
I have the same problem.. also they fall out after using an eyelash curler leaving a bald area.. sucks. So most the time I don't even bother with mascara.

I can't believe u didn't mention lash paradise. And I'm oily so all I can wear is waterproof otherwise its under my eyes in 2 seconds. My eyes are hooded and its a dryer mascara so it doesn't end up everywhere. It lengthens gives volume and curls!

The lash princess is horrible on me- I have panda eyes in minutes! But the models prefer x Tanya Hennessy mascara and the warrior mascara by flower beauty are amazing!

Meh I usually stick to mascaras that only apply color (and not curl) or a brown mascara that slightly curls. Fun fact, men usually have longer lashes than women. So idk why men don't use mascara more often haha. My lashes go straight down but are extremely long. I like to keep it subtle to keep it more masculine.
I tried the sky high one from Maybelline, it is good, just not for me.
If you like a mascara style like mine, go for a water based mascara, this keeps it more natural.

The Essence Lash Princess with the green writing on the tube did NOT work for me. It flaked and smudged under my eyes and looked AWFUL. I am gong to try the Maybelline Sky High to see if that works for me but I hate rubber brushes! Maybe the Maybelline Snapscara waterproof would be better?

A little tip with wands, if you come across a wand you love and it works for you, I keep a hold of it clean it and use it in a mascara that works for you! Sometimes the formula is fab but the wand doesn’t work for you so this way you get best of both worlds 🙊♥️♥️
