Welcome to part 2 of this epic clean-up.
Couple of things to mention in this one. First of all, thank you to everyone who commented on the first part of this series as I believe it did help get the video out to a wider audience. I received a significant number of new subscribers this week which is wonderful so thank you again!
If you did watch part 1 of this series last week, you will recall that I mentioned that this lady has been through some tough times and wasn't in the best of health. I actually had no idea how much she has been through. Issues/surgery on her back, knee operations, hip problems and battled cancer in her 30's! Fair to say she is due for some better times so hopefully cleaning up her garden helps with that.

One final thing. You'll notice that the garden beds of this section, now that they are tidied, are quite bare. Sir, you are truly a “master gardener” and I applaud you. I would much rather see you clean flower beds and trim trees and agapanthus than watch a lawn mower go back and forth a million times! Keep up gardening!!!

Being a gardener & having gone through cancer twice I am so grateful to my son who has more or less taken over the maintenance for me - it would break my heart to see it in a mess - god bless you for helping this lady - viewer from the UK 🇬🇧

When one is ill either physically, mentally, or both, never under estimate the power of cleaning or tidying up what that person is unable to do for themselves. What a lovely spot this is. That brick work is amazing!! Poor young lady. Will send some prayers up for her health and healing. You are giving her hope! Id love it if she could come out and enjoy some tea and get some fresh air. I know this was a while ago, I'm watching in May of 2024 but the sentiment is the same. She can still get around a little bit so she will have the opportunity to enjoy the yard a little.
Most enjoyable gardening vids to watch are those that present multi-faceted, gnarly, huge challenges - then double the joy when in response to a home owner in need of help; happy on both sides of the camera - Good Work !

Another great job! I love that you cleared out the agapanthus at the base, instead of just chopping it off with hedge clippers like so many other landscapers do. You know what you are doing with pruning! Not just going crazy with hedge trimmers and saws, but thinking about the shape and structure of the shrub!
Each plant needs to be treated individually, it's never about just hacking away in my opinion.

I watch his channel also but George can be a bit too brutal with pruning in my opinion and Ryan has adopted a better way of getting the job done in my opinion.

Ryan you did an amazing job as ever 👌 when you started on the high bush I was mumbling “please leave it high enough for shade”, and was so happy you did, it’s looking so nice and shady, I bet it smelled great too. The bbq is a piece of art, and with the clean terrace it’s a great area for friends and family get together. Your previous video gave me the inspiration and courage to tackle my own paths to the terrace this week, before it ran out of control. Looking good now. It is very frustrating when gardening and the outdoors is your favorite thing to do but you can’t. I have some back problems. Sometimes I can work like a horse. Sometimes I do one thing and it hurts too bad to continue. She is in much worse shape and it’s probably been heartbreaking and frustrating that she couldn’t do anything to make it better. I’m so happy that you are helping her. I hope she heals enough to be able to keep it up a little and enjoy it again.
