      On the Bad tour, I think he was at the climax : he started to really enjoy pain killers, a few times after his terrible head burn, on Pepsi ad. He was singing almost all his songs live, without play-back. And he had so much energy, an athlète who lost liters of sweat during just one show. Dangerous tour was also quite incredible, I saw him in Paris, but after these horrible, false allegations, from Chandler's crazy father, it was too much (I think) for him. He was used to handle, support an extraordinary pression, and this since his childhood. But anybody would have give up long time before him. Money, racism, it's hard to have faith, when such unhumanity destroy everything, from animals to our planet. Got no more hope, especially when you realize lessons humans take just from a pandemic. I'm wondering if évolution hasn't stop since long, and that we're just regress, compare to precedent civilisations, (pardon my English, and let's try to keep hope. Even when there are less and less People like MJ, or Sister theresa, etc, etc... Take care of your family and you)

When the "Gates" opened, I thought it was my last moments : gigantic clouds of dust, because everybody pushed, ran to enter and get in the front. So I ran too, and during the 5 next hours, it were only huge mouvements of crowd, banging everybody from right to left, from back to front. There were too many People, (promotors love money, if they could have sell 1 million places, even if there were injuries, even if they could have kill MJ-thanks BASF-they wouldnt have hesitate 1 fuc*#¡ second, believe me, and pardon my English), we ran on an unplanned earth surface, curved, perfect to break your ankles(because of the horses runs'... ) Fortunately, some people put me on their shoulders. Otherwise, when I was on the ground, I couldnt see much because I was too small. It was more exhausting than any other sports. But the show, ambiance were incredible.

    People underrate Michael in saying that he lip synced. You ( people) don't know how much he worked hard and dedicated his time just to give us his best show. So there is no need to say that.

    • @nirvanafan500

      Yes Michael proved he could sing live with high energy and dancing all the way through in his bad tour and other tours . His voice was amazing still in 2009 too. Plus he had lupus which people don't realise

    • @williamking595
      @williamking595 Před 4 lety +13

      He did lip sync but that was only later in his career. Blame the stupid MJ estate for not releasing his best live concerts in HD or streaming them. It's mostly their fault nobody who isn't an MJ fan can name an MJ concert with 100% live vocals.

    • @williamking595
      @williamking595 Před 4 lety +13

      You can't blame people for wanting to hear Michael sing live in his vocal prime though. He's a singer first and foremost, and one of the most legendary ones at that.

    • @Jayden-sh2jt
      @Jayden-sh2jt Před 4 lety +7

      nirvanafan500 I think you’re mistaking lupus for laryngitis and that’s not an excuse to lip sync basically the whole show for 2 years. Laryngitis doesn’t last even a few months. People who use that as an excuse are literally trying to justify michaels lip syncing. Michael prince summed up why Michael used playback. He wanted it to sound like the record and if it didn’t he felt like the audience was being sonically cheated. If you try to make excuse after excuse other than the fact he just didn’t want to use his live vocals, it’s like you’re against what you’re trying to defend

    • @williamking595
      @williamking595 Před 4 lety +9

      @@Jayden-sh2jt The only tour he lip synced the whole show was the History tour. I'm not sure why so many ppl are acting like this was a thing throughout his career. We all know his health wasn't the same after the mid 90's. He had a vulnerable immune system, got sick easily (why he wore masks during tours) and was inconsistent as a vocalist by that time. Not to mention the effects of pain medication on his energy and stamina. He lip synced because he knew a live performance would be sub par on those nights.

      On Dangerous Tour example of lip sync is song Jam...this was never sung live. HIStory Tour had around 80% lip sync. Motown 25 perfomance of Billie Jean is lip sync. But what's to understand is that there is a reason behind it. All artists do it. Nothing wrong with that.

      My comments if you read it again just states that lip sync was used on all tours...I don't mean that he didn't sing live...I just meant on BAD tour one or two songs were lip sync such as BAD...but again i stress...not on all shows.
      Billie Jean was lip sync for example on Motown 25...but it's all good...i don't care, it's an amazing performance. Jam on Dangerous wea I believe never live on any shows....so my point is...it was used....but most of it was of course live.

    I figured michael meant what he said. Going from place to place can really tire you out. I'm pretty sure lots of fans were begging for more . If michael really did ended touring , then there wouldn't have been a dangerous album etc.

With the mass connectivity of the internet, with his passing and records coming out posthumous, even record companies trying to fake songs like it was his (monster) after all this we only get a small selection of the Bad tour?! It was reported that MJ had to reschedule the LA concerts to January of 1989 instead because of some illness, not sure what kind of illness, but it was obvious that he lost weight maybe because exhaustion to his series of concerts, and he even looks grayish maybe because of his vitiligo getting worse he had to even out his skin with make-up. But anyway, he's always been the best. His face or his physical appearance have nothing to do with his performances. :-)

      Chris Pickering he started to rely on pain meds around that time. The amount of energy he put into rehearsals for these tours, while not sleeping and going on a "dancers diet" which was damn near starving himself to stay thin was a recipe for disaster. Michael didn't know it but he was literally slowly killing himself and it was to entertain all his fans.
