Enjoyed I flowed with the convo tho I missed some things but overall I knew what both convos were discussing
The hope I'm going to keep for myself is that (I'm writing this only after having seen the first conversation) I understood that dialogue completely. I understand the Spanish was kept rather basic, but I wouldn't have needed a translator at all to verify what I saw. I know exactly what it said, in Spanish. So surely that's a good sign of things. From there, it becomes a matter of use and repetition to go from just being able to read words I see used by others, to being able to think of those words speaking or writing for myself.
Great job! That's what I'm talking about. You are correct it's all about continuing to consume. The rest will come!
I just started listening to you today and by far you're the best teacher for spanish! Estoy Puertorriqueño (boricua) y Dominicano pero no habla mucho cuando era un niño, y entonces quiero practicar más. And listening to you makes things easy!

The younger you are, the easier/more beneficial it is to learn another language. Nueroplasticity (the ability for our brains to comprehend and develop new skills) wanes as we get older and is much more prevalent when we are younger, especially in our young teenage years through puberty (not to get too personal haha). So definitely take that as encouragement to keep on practicing! It will be very rewarding when you are older.

You know what!!! That's a very good sign that I'm alr able to understand & comprehend and not need any translator so the only thing I need to do is keep learning the words & how to use them in exppresions so I need (swallow words them into my brain)
Once I done that then I can pratice thinking that way and speaking like that then done, it's all about knowledge & structure

The guy in the first conversation sounds Cuban. I've always struggled with understanding Cubans because they have a tendency to kind of eat the ends of their words and not fully enunciate them.
