When yr contesting for crab and u already lost one its obviously worth it to smite cuz ull win the xp plus the gold and not give it to him, rest of camps u can do without smite when yr contesting a camp with another jngler ofc ure using yr smite to contest ! One tip for yi, you can deal a surprising amount of damage by learning something called auto cancelling with your W. Simply put if you auto, then w as soon as your auto lands, and then immediately auto again, you can actually skip the timer between auto attacks, I’d recommend to practice this tiny combo on camps until it becomes second nature then start using it in your fights when you are solely aiming to do damage as fast as possible, against champions you have to consider the trade off of survivability, but practice makes perfect! As a matter of fact it’s good practice to try to sneak an auto in before any ability with a fixed animation! This goes for almost every champion :) keep it up king

If I could give you one tip for playing yi, never stop to meditate or double think what you're going to do. Just continue to cycle those camps and out farm the enemy jungler. You should only go for plays that stick out like sore thumbs on Yi. Also purchasing boots first is good because it will naturally speed up ur clear.
As a fellow Jungle and Master Yi main, I would recommend that you take Ignite and Smite if you feel comfortable. Doing that makes you have an easier time with champions like Warwick in the early game and guarantee that they will think twice before coming at you when fighting for the early scuttle crabs.
@@tr4shstar_ Technically crab is an objective. Experience and Gold is vital for junglers, even more so the vision from the crab. In low elo people rarely even ward, so a single ward can go a long ways. Also early jungle tempo is important. Your logic would make sense if you were planning on doing an epic monster right after such as Dragon.

@@tr4shstar_ your medidate is a auto attack reset, meaning u can auto attack immediately after you meditate instead of waiting for your normal attack speed , so u auto attact meditate and auto so you have more efficiency and also it help with your passive. i hop eyou know waht ur passive is.
@@cumran8359 its not a diss. just saying there are champs suit for his skill set. he is playing a champ that has to read to many things. and yi is as easy as they come when actually fighting. play amu/sej/rammus for iron to gold. once he learns he can try other champs. playing a champ u cant pilot due to mechanix or macro is just as bad as inting.
