A good cook has instinct. Kelli has it, I have it, the majority of my friends do not have it. They freely admit this, but something in the brain just instinctively knows what goes with what and how to put it together. Having said that, I can say at 72 I am still learning that and tips and tricks to make my cooking more efficient. I have seen that Kelli does that too. After 40 years I am pretty good at it. Kelli will be too, even though she has become most excellent right now. You can always teach an old dog new tricks. She has taught me some! Thanks Kelli.

So cool to have Jonathan and Erica in your vlogs. Jonathan's attempt to get into the kayak was hilarious...reminded me of my first attempt on a calm river. I fell in tipping the kayak over and lost a shoe as it got sucked into the muddy bottom. Took two tries to get into the kayak. The shark catch was cool. Very entertaining video. My boyfriend and I are going to fort Pickens this upcoming Monday (5/23) and we are SO excited!! I’ve been to Pensacola twice a year for the last 30 years. He’s been once as a kid. It’s our first time tent camping at fort Pickens and we’re stoked!!

What a wonderful birthday trip for Jonathan! Thanks for taking us along to this beautiful beach again. So cool you guys caught a shark and Kelli those fish tacos looked incredible. I worked at a local burrito shop that sold Latin American fare and we served fish tacos. There was an excellent mango jalapeno salsa that paired with them nicely. I have somewhat replicated them at home. The salsa consists of mango, jalapeno, red onions, cilantro, lime juice, and ginger. You should work your magic with it Kelli!! -Hedy

Been watching yall for a while. You inspired me and my husband to start tent camping last October. Our first summer trip this year will be at fort pickens in just 2 weeks!! I feel the same way about Cape San Blas just a little south of where you are now. Most gorgeous beach ever. The sand there is made of ground up quartz crystal that comes down the Apalachicola river to the gulf. It squeaks under your feet. I could never get enough of digging my toes into it! LOLOLOL at 4:20 you just said the same thing LOLOL
One of my friends is a Palifox. Her dad played Davis cup tennis for Cuba and her mom played Davis cup tennis for Mexico. She played on the men's team in college in the US!

It was really beautiful there at the beach. It was fun watching Jonathan be buried and also trying and succeeding in surfing some waves. I knew Cody was gonna go out there and show us how it's done. Looked like a blast. What a lucky guy to have three fun people to spend a 21st Birthday with.

We love Pensacola and visit there often (my mom is from there) I’ve been wondering about camping at fort Pickens. Beach camping is not something we have attempted yet. We need to explore more downtown places! If you love good bbq and burgers the Blue Dot is my family’s favorite there. We usually go to Joe Pattie’s and buy lots of fresh shrimp and fish 😍😍😍 I’m ready to go back!! I’ll have to watch some of you other vlogs about Pensacola camping. Usually we just stay at my moms!
