These are such beautiful songs! And what an incredible performance. I'm so used to hearing Joyce in her usual baroque rep, with all the requisite ornamentation and trills and fireworks. To hear her sing such a beautiful, romantic cycle is not only quite a surprise, but a welcome one. I wish she would do more art song rep. I'd love to hear some Schubert Lieder! But these are just so beautiful. Brava!
