The Sifa button is located in the window as it was (and in many ex-Soviet countries it still is) standard practice for passenger trains to depart with the driver looking backwards out the cab window. The conductor usually gives the "go signal" while hanging from the rearmost door of the last car of the train, and the driver has to visually observe the green disk and hear the whistle. So, while the driver is in the window, it is more ergonomic for him to use the button there rather than the pedal.

Amazing Video!! These wagons are still in my country, Romania, classes 1 and 2. Some of the train fleet are on the way to be scrapped
the "transformer switch" controls the configuration of the transformer, its normally set to 140 km/h (iirc) but you can set it to 160 km/h so the train reaches that speed faster, however it shouldnt be in that position all the time otherwise it'll overheat. the indicator test just tests the lights on the dashboard, ALL of them.
Transformer switch sends additional 100 volts to transformers, so it is best to turn it on after you gained some speed.
You say you do not play German routes in TS Classic, but if there's one German route in TS Classic worth trying, it's the Koblitzer Mountains route. It's fictional, but feels more real than any other route (German or otherwise) in TS that I have ever driven. It's a must-try route in TS Classic in case you didn't try it already.

Whats the longest times you can take in timetable on this route?
The BR103 is gernerally between 50 mins to 1 hour. The BR110.3 i have seen from 20 mins upto over 1 hour 30 mins journey time.
the route looks not too bad but too expensive ... trees popping everywhere ... no reliable save game ... anyone who pays for this just released route at this price is either very wealthy or has their own youtube channel for driving trains or very stupid ... no way
