Bowling Park Parkrun - Bradford - POV

- Hello and welcome back to my channel. This week we went to a more local Parkrun in Bradford. A tough hill to climb three times. Weather remained calm for us and the park was in bloom, great morning all round even if it lacked cake haha.

I've only done this one once, but I really liked it - mainly because I got my highest ever finish of 9th at a Parkrun at it! I'd looked at the times at it before I went, and it did seem like one where it could be really busy and quick one week, and slower and empty the next - I got the slower, empty one!
I thought it was a nice route, although the first hill and the final one up to the finish were both really tough.
It is a great course, but the hill does take it out of you, the sharp bit near the entrance. Of course finding yourself near or in the top 10 always helps. The down section is one of my favourite in the parkrun world, if you let yourself go you can get some right speed. Still not one for your faster attempt this weekend lol

Bowling looks a beautiful park, challenging course but at least the paths look silky smooth.
How many finishers were there? Looked very quiet. I guess people in Bradford don’t like hills.

Yeah it's a really good parkrun but like Horton, always seems to have a small crowd came 13th out of 50 here this week . Definately would recommend it 👌
