Altough I know how to polish plastic, isn't these know for condensation on the inside? I just got a '14 and wondering how long till crap starts happening
Cadillac SRX’s are notorious for bad headlights, there is a recall on them and a class action lawsuit against GM for them. We also own a 14’ SRX. I recently replaced both headlight assemblies and went full LED for hi/low beams and fog lights. Complete night and day difference!
@@Siggydawg but it’s literally common sense to use masking tape before doing a job like this I’ve been detailing for years now and every time I do headlights I always mask them off
And you ave to pull the bumper to replace them. Cheaper, faster and new ones will do the same in a few years. I have a 2015 SRX4 and lights look worse than these. I am taking my buffer to them tomorrow. I already own the supplies so for me its 30 mins time and zero out of pocket cost. Beats buying new ones and not a couple hours labor hoping not to damage paint. Breaking clips taking the front off/on.
@Dave Richards thats a base model those are fixed in place fyi. as for yours if you let them dry out they are as good as new i had the same issue. just let the moister out and reseal and good to go. GM should have recalled these!
Florida sun is brutal. Headlights get cloudy even yellow, black trim fades fast and paint even gets burned off the hood roof and trunk. I have had plastic handles get so brittle they crumble.
One remark that is should put protection around headlight like masking tape inorder not to scratch nearby surface
Thank you I’m going to try this method ❤.
After it’s buffed and cleaned can you put on some cork headlight film to prevent further oxidation in the future?
She did a good job!

@@pulaskils1 good info, we tried to get them to cover our leaky dim headlights and they said no... of course they did😂
MY GOD MADISON 💚 IS A CUTIE I'D LET HER POLISH MY LIFE BACK I TO PLACE
I can't believe the lack of professionalism, you should always use the tape around the headlight to avoid damaging the car's paint.
very bad job
ditto that

Nope. The HID Xenon Ones are $1500 apiece from GM or aftermarket about $600-800 a pair.
