- Technically my 4th draft of this piece, though it's fairly similar to my last draft. I'm still working on cutting down it's length, and on making it more rhythmically interesting throughout. I'm thinking of removing some of the parts, so I'm going to release this version of the score almost as a beta test or directors cut or something.
Here are some of my plans for the edits:
-Fixing accidental unisons or unplayable notes(particularly in grandioso)
-Rhythmic variation. I'm pretty stumped on how to spice it up here, I'd greatly appreciate some suggestions!
-Cutting down on length. It's still really long, particularly the Exposition is much larger than the Development and Re-Capitulation.
-Variation in texture. Added the 7/8 section to help with this, it could be cool to drag that out longer and cut back on the pedal sections.
-Fixing various odd note choices or unintentional dissonances. Lots of errors got left in from when I was jotting these ideas down and while it's intended to be dissonant and chromatic, some of the note choices and rhythms were unintentional.
-Dynamics
Let me know what you think! I'd really appreciate any suggestions for what I could do to vary the rhythm and texture to make it more interesting.
