I have a question, I get confused about static and dynamic compliance/resistance, if you could explain how it relates to compliance overall ?

Hi! Honestly compliance confuses me a lot.
But from what I’ve read, the static compliance is the compliance when there’s no air flow and dynamic would be when there is air flow. So dynamic would have to include airway resistance as well.

Why chest wall recoil outward?
why does the chest wall tend to expand outward at rest?
But why does the chest wall have outward compliance ?
Why lung compliance is more in standing position????

Is Chest-wall compliance is same as lung compliance?
They’re related and both contribute to the breathing mechanics, but not the same.
