Meanwhile, several of the experts are of the view that due to the observation that was made by the Supreme Court, Nupur Sharma's case will be impacted when the High Court starts its hearing. Speaking on the same, author Anand Ranganathan said, "After SC's remarks (against Nupur Sharma), half a dozen people have been brutally attacked just for supporting Nupur. Who will take responsibility for that? Who will apologize? Who will be held accountable?."

As long as he doesn't break the law of the land, it is freedom of speech. The moment he crosses the line, the anchor should file an FIR. Freedom of speech doesn't mean that you give the freedom to say only what you like. As Voltaire famously said, "I don't like what you say, but I will defend to death your freedom to say it." I have heard Hindu activists justifying Akhlank's murder on TV. Allow them to say it and expose themselves.

I don't agree with advocate Sai Deepak's views on the significance or importance of 'obiter dicta' of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the course of a judgement. The damage has been done to Nupur and her case. Lower Judiciary in India , where most of litigation takes place are obliged to and dare not ignore or reject the obiter dicta of the Supreme Court. For all practical purposes, the obiter dicta is the law if the land , except perhaps in the Apex Court. Professor Ranganathan is spot on in his comments on the clarity and consistency of laws in any field. Jai Hind

SC judged should also be made accountable for their judgement and comments, specifically when it clearly shows they were impartial. These SC secular lobby is quite active in protecting the people of certain community.

RSS, On your question about whether Nupur Sharma Be Able To Do Away With The Cases Against Her, it is very clear these cases will be closed pretty soon and no action will be taken against Nupur. When there is no will to prosecute her, there is no way to prosecute her! The police will not ask for her custody, they will file a very weak charge sheet, and will not object to her bail plea. We know it is the Delhi police, which comes under MHA under Amit Shah - that is the reason she was asking for all the FIRs to be clubbed in Delhi. Sadly, this is how the governments, police, and judiciary work in our country!
