It's the same child who like to be with Gerudo to give us some cute adoptive father-daughter moments, something to change us about how Gerudo is in the main anime. The kid might have a unique skill or something like to can see ghosts but she's not even in the main anime.

I believe rimuru out of respect for shizu and her wishes for that very reason never offered to bring her back. He has thought about it . In the light novel it is revealed To do so it would mean shizu would give up her humanity. That was one of the thing she was extremely proud of. That despite being bound to iftrit she was still a human. Since he absorbed her he knows everything shizu did and how she felt about the students she left behind. Which is why insisted on taking care of the kids and curing them of their extra magical power. After a certain point her soul did move on from their world he wouldn’t be able to bring her back if he wanted to. The window was already closed.
I think it’s heavily implied shizu soul has already been reincarnated as one of her students. As the little girl who bears a resemblance to her received a spirit from the future who also resembled shizu and the story hinted feelings of love for rimiru were deeply involved with the summoning and bonding of the two as she was cured of her extra power.
Reincarnation may not be linear in terms of the time line in rimiru world. One could move on a be reincarnated as another being while their past self still alive . Or get isekaied within that same world but as someone else who already alive with or without their previous life memories.
As a certain event may trigger a remembrance or the reincarnation could go their entire lives without remembering a single thing.
