Gerrymandering needs to go so we can have actual accurate representation across the board.
Republicans cry about how important the electoral is, and the many reasons why the popular vote is a nonfactor.....gerrymandering has made the electoral college irrelevant.
We should go by the popular, but if we did that then the last 5 presidents would have been DEMOCRATS.
Yeah, no party should get a majority of seats while only getting a minority of votes.
Michigan showed what having an independent commission draw up districts can accomplish. My own area is still red and I’m still represented by election deniers in Congress and the state house and senate but I now feel like I can work toward a blue victory in the future without some politician gerrymandering it away from me. If you can put ballot measures on your ballot get organized, gather the signatures, and get rid of voting restrictions in your states. It is possible!!!!

For Nevada, according to CNN, at 4:44 a.m. ET, estimated 80% of votes are in with Laxalt 22595 votes ahead. If 20% of the votes are still open, this would mean 205993 votes. Thus, of those remaining votes Cortez Masto would need 11% more than Laxalt.
With Clark and Washoe being the counties that have 80% of the still open votes.
It's a large number but not insurmountable. I certainly hope Cortez Masto can pull it off.

Why do these comments keep being made as if they are insightful or even remotely intelligent? The red parts of the map represent rural and small town residential areas.
