I worked on a production of Lysistrata maybe 20 years ago that had inflatable phalluses full of confetti that the women characters popped with pins at the end. Certainly unforgettable.
That is looking like a lot of work! I like the ideas your going with in your production. It's also funny how that sort of theme comes up time and time again. All the Shakespeare books in high school were very heavily edited to save the kids from well mostly the idea of sex!
