A nickel, what a joke. TX has had increasing insurance rates across the state, for all residents. Over 12 months my rates went up $360/year. That was after I dropped my limits to decrease the increases. This is for 1 paid off pick up truck, 1 driver. I have a good driving record, and drive, on average 300 miles a month. The increases are due to theft, uninsured drivers, and other cost increases. FJB.

@@yomero75no unless the driver chose the minimum coverage allowed by local law. The minimum coverage for insurance only covers the car its self, it does NOT cover damages to other property. People pay a lot more for extra coverage. I highly doubt this a hole has that kind of insurance.

Neighborhood streets should be designed such that it's physically impossible to go a few miles per hour faster than desired. This is a concept called "traffic calming". It involves really simple features like curb extensions, level crosswalks, steel bollards, narrow lanes, sharp turns, etc. Most other countries design with these features because it lessens car deaths. But in California they do the exact opposite. They design all their streets super wide and straight like a racetrack and then act shocked when people speed and die.

The car is rolling. You can tell from how it settles in the garage. When it passes the pole, we are seeing the underside of the car. The low frame rate of the video makes it hard to tell but the position of the car confirms this.

Why are there two different vehicles airborne in the clip. It a black car before the pole and a whitish suv after the pole
It isn't a different car. The video has a low frame rate. If you pause carefully, you can see that right about when it passes behind the pole, the car starts to roll. The light color you see is the underside of the car. You can tell from the position it settled into that the bottom was visible before it slid down between the trucks.
It’s the white hood of the truck that got peeled off in the process.
@@n8telyonsI don't think either truck lost it's hood. The car appears to clear the first truck, then hits the side of the second truck. I think the doorbell camera glitched a bit when dealing with a fast moving object. There is a big blurry artifact that appears behind the path of the car as it moves through the picture. Right when the car comes to a stop, the artifact clears up and the car looks black again.
