I picked up a John Maxwell book on a restaurant gift rack over 20 years ago and have several of his books because I like the advice he gives. This video is a great summary of my purpose in life. I like the 5th suggestion of adding value to people by doing the things that GOD values.

There's so many great lessons throughout these teachings. I guess my favorite would be the message of finding my purpose. This reminds me that I am a child of God and my life is meant to be lived for Him which helps me refocus on the things that I believe would honor Him such as living a life based on love, forgiveness, grace and mercy. Evan I like number 10. Knowing why you are here and why your gifts and abilities were given to you are priceless in true success. Even if we make all the money, gain all the stuff, yet are not fulfilled emotionally and spiritually, then it will all be for not. True success comes when each day we are LIVING life so that our skill, abilities, gifts, and talents are fully realized. Only then, will we achieve our "TRUE - Life Design". And only then will we be fully fulfilled!

Man, I am really loving your videos man and yeah first of all of all these Dr. John Maxwell's 10 Rules of Success, is almost all, but what really helped me during the times when I was saying to myself, "I decided, I would grow myself from here on" And that is, Ask More Questions. It really is true man, once you ask more questions you are curious of or wanting to know more, you began to share more new learnings and knowledge to the people you wanted from you to be inspired or motivated with, and these Top 7 Rules of Success, boils down to all Top 10 Rules of Success, when you start asking questions, you learn new knowledge, you explore a new world of possibilities, and by that means, you start adding value to people, you start to grow your attitude, you started to work smart because of the questions you asked could be the ways to get to your goals faster in a smarter way, you lead by example, you started to make trade-offs, you now realized, that now is the time, and now you realized that connecting to people and communicating to them, leads for you to ask more questions and that would help you eventually grow even tremendously, and by that, you finally found your purpose.
What I am saying is, there is no such thing as a best rules of success, all of them is what makes us the leader we wanted to be. That's all and I hope you guys gots tons of value in this long paragraph message of mine, and it does not really tire me, because adding value to people is already part of my daily routine and I feel more blessed to share this insights with lots of you.
