      Thank you. I would have loved to compare self noise directly but my reviews in description tests that aspect... Couldn't test accurately if I wanted to. Untreated rooms within an apartment complex have a higher noise floor. I am out of town far away from home till mid February.

    Interesting comparison, thank you ! I prefer the versatility of Ntg5, but the MKE600 is impressive ...

    Enjoyed your video! In the studio I preferred the Rode NTG5 slightly more than the MKH50 and much more than the MKE600. Lucky for me that is the one that I own. Yea!

    • @sparkestudio
      @sparkestudio  Před 6 měsíci +2

      The Rode NTG5 is more natural without the deeper tones of the other 2 mics. I was a background actor in a movie production last month and the purposely use the NTG5 because of the more natural sound which works well for more voices.

    I love this video bro. I love the sound of the Sennheiser MKE 600. I wish it was more "weatherproof" because I would like to use it more in different environments but that's why I have the Deity Smic 2 and luckily they sound very close it's hard to tell them apart most of the time.

    • @sparkestudio
      @sparkestudio  Před 7 měsíci +1

      I had almost purchased the Deity Smic 2 with location kit last year. Instead I purchased the SE Electronics SE8 and the very expensive Shure TwinPlex TL47.
      The Shure Twinplex was a bad purchase. Sennheiser Mke essential omni lavalier is the most pro feeling wired lavalier I have.

    • @heroicvision
      @heroicvision Před 7 měsíci

      @@sparkestudio I like the Deity Smic 2 because you can beat the hell out of it and expose it to almost any weather condition and it will work 100%. In comparison to the MKE 600, the Sennheiser has slightly better noise rejection and less self noise. Other than that they are nearly identical in sound with the MKE 600 with a tad more fullness in the lower end.

I am selling my Sennheiser MKE 600 for the second time next week. During the next week and a half going to be reviewing a newly released high end tripod fluid head, a camera slider, the Hollyland M2 USB mic system, on the Tech channel a cool looking Mechanical keyboard

    Hi I feel All are good. Also there are all expensive mics. So Suggest me for Over head or to connect camera which now is good. also suggest me in budget.

    • @sparkestudio
      @sparkestudio  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Which mic do you use on a budget?
      I could have used the Deity V-mic D4 since I do have it with me but it doesn't even compare.
      I normally use overhead as I show in the studio recorded scenes other than the old MKE600 footage.
      This untreated room would make for too much room reverb overhead... and I have no mounts with me in this apartment.

      @@sparkestudio Thank you for suggestions

    • @sparkestudio
      @sparkestudio  Před 7 měsíci

      @@manutecpodcast for overhead do not use a pencil condenser cardioid type. You need to speak closely for good sound. The Deity v-mic D4 is the best budget I have used and reviewed. Talking anywhere close to a solid wall sounds BAD but if you have a solid wall behind and far in front and have it over head and angled 45 degree angle down it works even in a somewhat untreated room. I have 2 reviews of that mic. 1 on this channel and one on my tech channel.
      The MKE600 isn't cheap but you won't regret it in the long run you'd be happy you spent the extra money. The MKE600 has a double A battery compartment for direct to camera audio... Just like the Deity v-mic D4 but that one uses an expensive triple A battery type.

    Btw, I ended up sending the Fulaim X5 back, while I was happy with the sound quality and battery life was incredible, the wind muff mount broke after just a couple of uses, making them unusable outside :( - any other suggestions for a wireless lav kit with a good solid wind muff attachment?

    • @sparkestudio
      @sparkestudio  Před 7 měsíci

      The Rode Wireless GO II or pro... Oh wait that uses the identical wind muff to the Fulaim. Hollyland Lark Max made their wind muff too aggressive.
      DJI mic has a beautiful tone but it picks up everything. If out in nature the DJI is great but in the city it picks up even the smallest of sounds in the distance.
      Did you check out my Godox Version review? When not using internal recording it has the best battery life of any wireless mic I have ever tested. If you have a Sony camera to use it with the S version would be the way to go but if I remember correctly you had an action cam with USB?

    • @DigiDriftZone
      @DigiDriftZone Před 7 měsíci

      @@sparkestudio Mostly using with ZV-E1 but since it is limited to 16bit and it's quite easy to get the levels wrong, I usually rely on internal recording. I used to have a Rode Wireless Go II but they failed, so I lost trust in them: czcams.com/video/fqbSWLDaHpw/video.html - the wind muff was very secure though unlike my experience with the X5, it was secure a couple of times, then the little plastic inside of the transmitters broke :(
      I'll have a look at your Godox review, not seen that yet - seems like a good option with Sony. That price though!

    • @sparkestudio
      @sparkestudio  Před 7 měsíci

      @DigiDriftZone I never had a Rode Wireless device fail completely. Just like your video while playing with buttons removed pairing too easily but I figured it out... I didn't get the dual model of the Go II like you did.
      I read wrong, you use the internal recording... Verso M2 if you have the digital interface on your Sony the Verso M2 S for less self noise hiss. The Hollyland Lark Max (but expensive) no connection issues not even by mistake like I had with the GO II and you had to a worse degree but I would have to show you how to improve that overly aggressive wind muffler or watch part 2 review I mention what to remove. I like the Hollyland enough that it is the only one I took with me, I covered it too aggressively with my clothes in this video. Verso requires a separate microSD card to be placed in it. Fulaim X5 was simply amazing value, just mind blowing compared to others for the price.
