One of my favorite things that happens/unfolds in the Parking Lot Wedding episode is when Thomas (as Dave) mentions how Cory hadn't stopped short Paul from saying anything "mean" and moves him to the back of the line, sending Sebastian to the front to be best man. I can not describe to you how satisfying that part was to watch; seeing all of those little loose strings that you forgot about being tied up. Honestly so amazingly smart and hilarious. I love these specials soooo much and request them to everyone I know all the time.

The Parking lot wedding ep is just one of the best things i have seen in a long time.

Wow kevin is such a great interviewer. He asks questions that are so thoughtful and pulls so much insight out of Ben and Thomas instead of just the surface level questions I always see from other interviews. I really enjoyed this interview!

I have been absorbing as much Schwartz and Middleditch as possible on CZcams and this is by far the best interview content I’ve seen. The number of times Ben looks surprised and pleased at a question wins.

I’m glad he asked that question at 2:20, and I think I know exactly what the interviewer meant. It seems like there were times where Thomas would get a little overwhelmed and Ben was able to step in and kind of... nudge him back on track?
Ben threw the second episode off the rails and it was up to Thomas to make any sense of it 😂
@@joecooper9424 Well yeah, but to be fair to Ben, he was using what she said about there possibly being aliens in the beginning that Thomas didn’t hear or forgot about.
Also Ben, you do not look ugly in the specials - far from it! 😎😍

I finally watched these the other week and was super surprised at how much I laughed hysterically! My sister said she loved it and I was like "yeaahh ok.." even though I've seen some long improv like once before, but this was hilarious and I like seeing these two together. I definitely want more of this

Yay for this! Thanks, Kevin! Improv, especially long-form, is criminally under-appreciated and it's great to see it getting coverage, and a NETFLIX SPECIAL SERIES? awesome. Go find good improv in your city! If it's not that available, maybe help it? There's a lot of great and funny improv peeps out there, they just need a space and room to grow. You have to grow improv, it takes time to grow the culture in your city. It's worth it, though.

I just rewatched Parking Lot Wedding and I'm still mouth agape at how brilliant it fucking is. I don't know how they literally did a plot twist and had character development through making something up on the spot. The little nuances that relate back to the audience story and the CLOWN. Amazing,
19:43 If youre talking about the scene in the interview when Ben has to embody a gazelle, when he stops and asks if he's in view of the camera, I thought it was his character making sure he was in view of the webcam that he was doing the interview through and it was part of the act.

That Ben guy’s character on Parks and Recs, was the most awful, annoying man on tv. I loved the show, and recently binge watched every series. But I wanted him to get run over, or fall out of a window! His on screen sister was the worst woman on a tv show!
