- I'm encouraging all of us to think more deliberately about how we stand, and sit, while playing the flute. Relaxed shoulders, long neck and elongated spine, free lower back and hips, weight over your feet, knees not locked, low center of gravity, feeling your weight sink down through the floor into the ground, As If You Were a TREE!

I like the way you explain things, so nice
I never really thought about the very technical parts of the posture, but it's definitely important. I've tried a few of these posture tricks, and they really do make a big difference.
Yes, even though it's pretty simple, it's good to know exactly what you should be doing and why.
ALthough not a flutist, it's always educative to watch something about posture. One or two things can be used for keyboard players too.
We probably all have to think about our spines.... 🤔
