Great question! We wish we knew. We never know when new products or accessories will be available until an official Canon press release. Please check here and on all our social media platforms for any possible future updates and announcements.

    QUOTES FROM THE VIDEO:
*"The print surface is scratch resistant even when rubbed."*
"For glossy paper, the Chroma Optimizer is designed to *suppress reflection that interferes with viewing* and produce the print's original colors. This helps to improve *gloss uniformity* and reduce bronzing to achieve clear and vibrant color expression."
    "Prints retain outstanding lightfastness."

@@CanonUSA My pleasure! I'm very excited about these new innovations in their new inkset! It may now be possible to frame prints without glass or protective spray now - because of the improved scratch resistance along with the Chroma Optimizer covering white, unprinted areas of the paper!
Some have said that the improved scratch resistance is only hype, but they show a framer placing a metal ruler right on the paper!
I've never heard before that the Chroma Optimizer helps "suppress reflections that interfere with viewing." I wonder if this was just now engineered into this new Chroma Optimizer ink?
They're jumping ahead of Epson in key ways!
[I added another quote in my edit.]
      God bless!
