Ironically, it's the japanese promoter who called him "young samouraï" first despite he only said he was inspired by them and more specifically Myamoto Musashi book of five rings. It wasn't an issue in Japan, people like him. Only after going to UFC, people criticize him for samouraï stuff when Japanese fans never had issue .

He said before the Rakic fight, in UFC 300 he would return 'back to the roots' like in his early fights (=more violence, whatever it takes). He delivered that. The entrance song is part of this.
