Bring Your Shortcomings

Romans 8:26-30 - Through this passage we will focus on our relationship with the Holy Spirit during the process of sanctification. Paul helps us remember how our shortcomings, baggage, and trauma from the shrapnel of the fallen world impact our relationship with God. A practice for reflection: This week, set aside 10-minutes for prayer once a day. First the first 3 minutes, focus on slowing down and ask God to reveal your shortcomings or your baggage that you bring with you. For the second 3 minutes, Praise God and thank Him for meeting in your brokenness and filling in the gap that our brokenness can create. For the final 4 minutes, ask God where He is leading you next in this holistic journey of healing that is found only in Him.
