How did you getthe door off to begin with?

Just bought a house with these shower doors and I rage quite in the middle of a shower when the damn doors just started falling apart on me. Thanks for this walk through looks like it will be relatively simple to get them operational. Still hate these garbage shower doors though.

@@RenegadeEngineer The upper track is only held in by the weight of the doors. Just jiggle that shit they come right out.
How do you get the door on the bottom track?
I'm indebted to you sir! Only problem now is finding the same wheels and drilling 1 inch inward away from rusted area.

I got the wheels at Home Depot today, Feb 23, 2022 and now my doors slide beautifully!
Ok but how do I remove the doors? Do I need to take off that plastic thing in the middle of the track first?
If they aren't already about to fall out then all you have to do is lift the upper track up and maneuver the doors out. The upper track is only held in by the weight of the doors. Just jiggle that shit they come right out. It sucks because they seem to come out when you don't want them too.
@@TheBrownSys do not wear sandals when you do it! I know friend that had the door broke on him and hurt him, he was on blood thinners and was taken to the hospital cause the blood woulnt stop, he could have died
Ours screech horribly beacuse they are hitting eachother and it's an aweful sound every time you open. We will try and see if we can fix it

A little late with an answer, but I got them on Amazon in 2024. (measure your existing one, there are a couple of sizes, but nothing difficult)
Hello, can you tell me how to take the shower doors out of the frame to get to the wheels! My shower door is dragging but I can not figure out how to get the shower door out of the frame to fix the problem.
lift the shower door up and get the wheels over the lip of the rail. super easy
@@Mr._Chievous looks like you gotta skide the little retaining groove piece of plastic at bottom out of the way so you can pivot the whole panel, yes?
@@RenegadeEngineer i don't know what skide means but but i didn't have to pivot anything. mine is up and out. of course mine is 60 years old. i changed and oiled new rollers and thoroughly cleaned the grooves and now my doors slide like greased lightning. simple pleasures

My dad I tried to repair our shower doors. We did repair them but when we tried to place them back they exploded. Still wondering what we did wrong.

Is there anything thing to adjust when I close the door it rolls back open about 1-2 inches. They are only 4 months old.
