The beautiful thing about the seated bakasana versions is that they give students ( and this teacher!) ways to strengthen the core AND approach postures that may be slightly out of reach at the present moment.🙂It has been very helpful for me personally.

When performing reclined crow pose in your classes, you remind students to try and keep both shoulders off the ground no matter which side you're twisting to. I find this "small" detail adds another level of strengthening. Amazing what a fraction of an inch in a pose can do!

This episode was so good! I'm having wrist surgery, so I would love to add those seated and supine arm balances to my practice--a great way to strengthen the core but also prepare me for arm balances while I'm taking a break from wrist extension.

    I have a question....
Can I be a YOGA INSTRUCTOR without necessarily being a teacher?!?

love a sphinx roll up and it is also part of modern pilates, in fact you can enjoy the diagonal energy in the forearm plank too - quite an interesting challenge to elongate right arm and left leg while Smiling through your Forearm Plank 😊
