is there any video related to leg side wide?
What is measurement of wide crease for normal stance? as I have seen on net 37 inches... It looks pretty short as i have seen on matches
What about the wide that goes over the batsman's head?
If the ball goes past the head of the batsman, the umpire has to judge whether it was playable or not. Usually it isnt, so its called a wide ball and also one bouncer for the over.
What about leg side wide. Is everything down the leg a wide. What if the batter moves from his guard towards middle to gain a wide
What is the exact rule for wide ball, when a batsman tries to play a reverse shot or a switch hit, and the bowler fires the ball down the "original" leg side?
Boll off the straight line marks passes by as a wide ,
PLEASE SHOW THE LEG SIDE WIDE TOO
INDIA VS SRI LANKA ICC CT 2017
43.5 BALL .
Thank you
What about the wide ball decision during reverse sweep and switch hit...
The initial stance of the batsmen when the ball comes into play is considered as his original stance. so the off side of the batsmen is the one during his original stance when the ball comes into play.
What happens when the ball does not hit the wicket and is not hit by the batsman?
@Ajmal hussain It would not called wide
Ajmal HussainIn that case it would be in the batsman's normal stance
. That's my understanding anyway
