It's always great to learn from you jim. Have A great day and HAPPY HOLIDAYS
Happy holidays! Thanks for watching.
A good video as always
Glad you enjoyed it
Jim, can you please provide the torque values for the calibres? Thanks!
I have a 2020 Forester with 14K miles and the GD wear indicator is already bitching. I cannot purchase 2020 pads yet but there are previous year models available. Would you know if they are the same pads?
The hardware kits between 2020 and 2019 are the same.
Front brakes, but he way.
Thanks and appreciate the vid. They change like every single other vehicle I have done!
Could you provide the torque spec of those two bolts? Thanks.
I had a problem with the bottom slide pin I swear it was like out too far but I can't figure out how to get it back in a little bit
Great!
you should also clean the surface of the new rotor with brake parts cleaner.
that is true always clean off the new rotors.
I have a 2020 forester, how do I find what the torque is??
No need to apply anti-seize on the bolts?
I use use my impact to remove the bolts
Subaru typically has a hole in the rotor you can drive a bolt through which one tightened pushes the rotor away from the hub.
Thanks for watching.
What size hole is it? Do you just use a wheel nut or something?
@@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 you can't use a nut to push out anything. You need a bolt.
@@jtwu8931 Sorry I misspoke, I meant wheel bolt.
@@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 M8-1.25
Thars cool. Time to relax. Work smarter not harder Jim.
Thanks for watching.
Torque specs
Easy job lol
Thanks for your input and for watching.
2011 - 2020 ? ya no !
