How an infrared thermometer can help home owners locate areas where heating insulation is inefficient. Which spots are losing the most heat and/or air conditioning.
This thermometer can help get a rough idea of where the heat loss is occurring, but not many people know the best ways to use an infrared thermometer for this. A video with tips and examples the can save home owners money in heating/cooling would probably get lots of views....Currently there aren't any videos on CZcams about this niche topic.
There is this one that can help czcams.com/video/uBGw29vPCiQ/video.html
thank you bro
Use also to find the coldest (frozen point) of water line allowing one to concentrate their thawing efforts.
Great tool.great review.Thank you for sharing.
Is this reliable for scanning a wall for pipes; especially that a stud finder might miss? Supposedly an infrared imager can be used for that but costs a lot more and I already have a laser thermometer.
Which is better this method or infared camera during home inspection. Got price quotes for house inspection with camera infared is 690$ vs this method at 440$
It is use to check tyre temperature measurements? Please tell
Kind of surprised that a home inspector would pay only $16. Seems like for professional use, a home inspector would buy an expensive model, assuming that paying more gets you a better model.
Of course I am afraid to put my hand on a stove.
I have a Hold feature on my IR gun and what is it for? Lost my manual.
what brand tool?
I have a HT-817 double laser, and, suddenly one laser went dead. Any idea why and can I replace the laser?
when it do show your temperature what it means?
This helped thanks
No it really didn't.
the problem that im having is that i am monitoring my pets temp inside of a tank and there are plenty of products designed to do that. i got a gun recently and it is so off from my digital probe display reading and that was about the same price as the gun. the probe is an exo terra combo meter that reads humidity and temp that seems to be nicely made and the gun is a general brand tool.... it was the cheapest one they had at home depot costing a little over 20 dollars. my combo
meter may have been slightly more expensive.... the probe will read 85 in a location compared to the gun reading 68 in that same area.... ????? is the general brand gun a piece of crap or is the probe??? i dont know and doubt that i'll get a clear answer im just tossing this out there....
Can we inspect on electric switch
So what is the other button for
I don't recommend anyone to check their stove with their hands.
If you want to put your hand on the stove¿?????? Bell's are ringing think I'll hire the guy smart enough not to put his hand on the stove but at least your checking it first lmao
Hi, my 2 laser gun, the bottom one has gone off. Any ideas how to check or replace diode? Model HT-817.
No information on how to calibrate it to ambient temperature. Your readings are false unless calibrated.
Corona
I bought one from Auto Zone to use for no touch temperature taking. it works
I got that one for 17.25
Ebay $10 free ship
None of these cheap units work. Aim at a fixed object at 2 feet away then 5 then 10 then 15 etc and you will get different readings
the readings should be the same !
