- We bring you an exclusive video interview of conductor Jan Bubák with the Music Director of the Czech Philharmonic Semyon Byčkov. Both gentlemen talk about what interests them most as conductors. Semyon Byčkov gives an insight into his approach to rehearsals. He also talks about the musicians of the Czech Philharmonic whom he calls colleagues and respects immensely. he's damn hot
I grew up with him and he was the only annoying teenager I ever actually respected 😂 He was educated, great fun, tough but fair and honest, always asking good questions, always looking for new ways. It's a rare young man if he studies in Lithuania and treats even "the weird kids" in a friendly and open way. We had great people to learn from (our pastor has a brother who plays in the Czech Philharmonic) and it's heartwarming to see him continue in the same vein 🙂
