Out of all the Sarah and Colin sketches, this has to be the best one yet!
I love the chemistry between Colin and Sarah. SNL writers have been fairly good about not overdoing the skits between them so that has kept it fresh. There are several new cast members getting more exposure now but Sarah is probably my favorite.

What's so great is that Sarah keeps finding new ways to Roast Colin. She could just use the same formula she started out with over and over, and it would still be funny, but coming up with new angles like this is making her an SNL legend.

He's very cute, but he's kind of nerdy, and self-deprecating, and it definitely seems a bit like the gorgeous popular girl is with the nerd, even though he's a handsome nerd. And since he takes these hits so well, it's just become a thing to comment on how on earth did he get Scarlett Johansen. :-)

Ok, honestly this was the best sketch on the entire night. Loved every second of it, but the Cat's in the Cradle bit killed be.
The sheer joy and pleasure in each of Sarah's appearances is always a highlight of every show. Chloe Fineman brings the same energy - they both always seem to be having the time of their lives.

Her take on the ideal antagonist for him was dialed in on her first day. He's never been great at keeping a straight face, but against her, he's got nothing. It's so bad, it's kind of impressive she's able to keep a straight face.

I am SO glad that Colin Jost is such a great sport. Sarah Sherman is hilariously relentless, and these bits are absolute gold. I can't breathe watching these and I come back to them again and again. They are such a wild ride and they wouldn't work if Colin were not both along for the ride and also horrified. He's perfect, and Sarah Sherman is amazing.

Poor guy? If a monkey's paw offered to grant me a wish of being married to Scarlett Johansson with the "curse" that my coworkers would occasionally razz me about how I'm not worthy of her, I would be screaming YES so fast my voice would doppler shift into inaudible. I think Colin is doing OK.

I don't know if Colin's just a great actor or if he really is reading the joke for the first time. He really seems surprised by what he's saying. I love it when he seems embarrassed by what he's saying, like when he reads racist jokes.

I know back in the day, John Mulaney used to rewrite Stefon-lines right before air, just to crack up Bill Hader. I do wonder if Sherman has been given similar priviledges.
Yeah similar to the bit where Colin and Michael write jokes for each other, they truly don't see those before hand. And remember Colin is one of the head writers so I could imagine Some of Sara's bit's being not known until they're live. This bit was definitely run through at least once though just off the few times Colin isn't lined up with a teleprompter but even turned away, he hit the correct words and timing with Sara.
