Also for future reference, the bottom line on power poles is phone/fiber optic. The lines above that are the ground wires and the top ones are the ones that turn you into cooked marshmallows. That just a rule of them it’s not ALWAYS that way, but typically that’s how they’re setup

It's always those no pay jobs that seem to take the longest.
Those stitched rubber dipped gloves that you see in gas stations/truck stops work pretty well. Another trick I use as a firefighter when I’m required to wear extrication gloves to cut patients out of vehicles is rubber gloves. Put rubber gloves on when your hands are warm, and then put whatever gloves over the rubber gloves. Keeps your hands warm…pro tip, once the rubber gloves are on DO NOT take them off until you’re done being out in the cold because your hands sweat and they’ll get super cold. Cheers

I always used kitchen rubber gloves under my working gloves, there flexible, they keep the moisture out and the heat in. 🇺🇸🇬🇧

I was In freak snowstorm in flagstaff ,white out . Easter weekend 1976 . Followed a snow plow all the way to Sedona exit . Then became a rain event 12 hrs or longer . No one knew this storm was coming . Then giant flakes . I was12 miles out side flagstaff when first flakes fell about 4:30 pm . Couldn’t see anything after that . Was driving a 65 Mack B with water tank trailer empty ! 6 hrs to go 17 miles ,never would of tried this without that snowplow 10-15 feet off ithe plows bumper .
The good ol days, wish I could have been there.
Best beer run since the bandit and snow man decided to haul a lil rocky mountain kool-aid.
Ps Nikki sometimes when it's real cold I'll put on a pair of rubber gloves under my insulated it seems to help me but we haven't had a winter like yours in a while worst we had this year was a week or two in single digits.

Another great recovery and work force gloves at home depot are a great way to keep fingers warm I've operated an open cab dozer in- 15 degrees and they never got cold in 8 hours

@@MrsWreckerRick I know this video is over a year old, but REI has extreme cold weather gloves. Good that you have the insulated overalls with a hoodie as they are warm and wind proof. Nikki, you could use your channel and post videos of daily lifestyle of a towing and recovery family. kids, grandkids if you have those and videos that Rick would not know about unless he watched your channel.
