- Our first game under the Omega 1.03 house rules, which are designed to balance the game a little more in favor of the Allies and reduce the power of the J1 attack. Here, Germany abandons the G1 Sea Lion threat for an all-out G1 attack on Russia, utilizing new military base and paratrooper rules. Meanwhile, Japan launches a traditional J1 attack. Both nations eventually falter, though, and Italy never gets off the ground due to an effective first-turn Taranto raid and Allied focus on the Middle East. Axis eventually concedes.
Also includes shout-outs to Young Grasshopper, Big Al, and General Hand Grenade.

You could have ended the game much sooner if you had defended London better, Middle Earth would have exploded with units and Rome would have fallen around turn 5-8. I still think that Persia is a better place for the factory because you could have ferried the same units to Egypt plus into Russia and Calcutta. Don't forget to defend your capital!! Good game guys, always enjoy your game videos.

Is it a truly decadent pleasure to see the famous Chris and Brian back in action better than ever in the abandon monitoring station in Dallas Texas. The new math really looks awesome I like the partial glossy ocean and the partial matted ocean. Most of all hearing Brian's Matt Frewer voice overs. I wonder if I could tempt you to do a quick Max Headroom warble for us. might be hard to duplicate on CZcams. However, any further reference to our friends down under in alien race terminology my caused me to wonder yes Brian is simply an alias and we are actually hearing our Syfy extraordinaire Matt Frewer himself speaking. ;-)

Hey guys. couldn't help but hear you opening up the analysis discussion as is your custom. my humble input would be JP got stuck in PAC because Australia was allowed to maintain its national objectives for far too long. in round three Malaysia and PNG should have been taken away from them and then in round 4 a couple of those NO islands taken at the same time. this would have suppressed them from being able to build such a big navy that the USN is attracted to come down under. another thing that I noticed is that the house rules for China really aren't that big a deal if Japan simply follows the Russians through Siberia back westward and continues to press the attack against India. Also allow breakthrough chart to be selected after dice roll for tech. Tef sends....

Your Chinese partisan rule is ill-conceived, and changes the entire nature of the Sino-Japanese war and the Pacific theatre. With respect, your house rules have so significantly transformed this game, that you are no longer playing G40 A&A! I stopped watching this video at 14 min, 58 seconds because this video was showing an idiosyncratic game that ONLY the two of you play. So sad, since I've really enjoyed the previous 10 videos / games, when you were ACTUALLY playing Axis and Allies G40.
We have a Soviet Partisan rule for the Russians. If any of Baltic States, E Poland, Belarus or W Ukraine are captured but undefended the Soviets can put 1 infantry in. However, its during mobilisation, so the unit doesn't capture the territory (until the next turn anyway), and it's max 1 infantry no matter how many territories are undefended.
We are trying to be a bit historically accurate without breaking the Eastern Front

With respect to your ignorance on their house rule, the Chinese partisan rule is well conceived and enjoyed by hundreds if not thousands of G40 players in the Balanced mod version.
