      @@an_nie_dyc1386 You may be correct but if I look at viewings of the talks in this series that were uploaded first ie parts 1-6 pt 6 is 12k. part 5 14k and it grows back to part 1 which ha stew most so I believe 11k to be correct unless all of the talks have been changed Part 5 is at 244 likes ....so again either the whole series has been changed or people do not pate the time to give a thumbs up - it sabot 2.5% ........ one of the challenges we have is David is relatively unknown - please share with as many friends as you have - CZcams will like that 😂 🙏

    They received the Holy Spirit on Resurrection Sunday. They were empowered by receiving His Gifts on Pentecost.
    John 20:21-23
    King James Version
    21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
    22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
    23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

      All these half-baked 'bible scholars', always pontificating on issues they have no depths about, When did Mr Pawson make the assertions you have alluded to?

    • @americanjedi5952
      @americanjedi5952 Před 7 měsíci

      @koolumanionwumere1782 it was Derek Prince. Pawson was only saying Pentecost. This was my disagreement. Bible says He breathed on them and they received the Holy Spirit.
      I guess you know it all.

      David made it very clear that they did not receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit when he blew on them. That is the misconception of modern-day Christians is that they are baptized in the Holy Spirit when they accept Jesus as the Risen Christ. You are not at that time filled with the Holy Spirit automatically now don't get me wrong they could be simultaneous but it is not automatic..

    You don't have the authority to forgive sins only Christ can do that. What Christ means is love covers a multitude of sins. By you forgiving them of their sins you can regain your friend. Love never fails

      When speaking about how the some churches work with Priests standing in the place of God, you are correct. But your statement is confusing to some - We are commanded to forgive others when they sin against us. So, our forgiveness isn’t saying God has forgiven them, but is required from us, otherwise, we commit a sin by not forgiving.

      I think you are confused. Let me help clear it up for you Jesus said if you forgive anyone their sins will be forgiven them. And in fact they are forgiven by God for the sins they commit against you not for all their sins

      @@benelias3556 so if someone doesn't forgive me what I did against them then I'm not forgiven? Only Christ has the power to give them forgiveness. They might be good with you if you look past it but if they repent to Christ they aren't forgiven regardless if you forgive them or not.
