Today, we examine the latest from Kursk as Ukrainian forces rush to close the pocket thought to contain thousands of Russian troops, and we hear how Ukraine is preparing an anticipated Prisoner of War exchange and why the issue of returning Asov fighters is now a political question for President Zelensky.

Yes of course but the same can be said about the Donbas region of Ukraine having citizens which identify as Russian and speak Russian, and other regions of Eastern Europe its no surprise given they were all under the one flag not that long ago.
I just wish this war would end so people could stop dying. There’s not going to be an outcome where either side is happy, both have lost too much already.
And this war is also beginning to hurt other countries too my country has had a housing crisis going on a decade it’s impossible to get a house but we have taken in so many refugees. Men also not real men like the heroes who defend their home but ones who flee for opportunity.

More training of pilots & ground crew, more unique logistics, very few available. There are dozens of Gripens v thousands of F-16. The USA has 100s in several stashes in desert states. How many countries use & are training F-16 pilots & ground crew v just Sweden.

Ukrainian Armed Forces commander-in-chief Alexander Syrsky reported to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky that the station along the entire frontline remains difficult.
"As of August 20, the operational and strategic situation remains difficult, […] the situation is tense on Orekhov and Dnieper directions," he said, speaking via video conference at the Congress of local and regional authorities under the president of Ukraine. His report was aired by the Rada TV channel.
Syrsky acknowledged that the Russian forces have been maintaining a 3:1 advantage over the Ukrainian army in use of artillery shells in the past two months.
Previously, the Ukrainian commander-in-chief informed Zelensky about difficult combat near Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) and Dzerzhinsk (Toretsk) in Kiev-controlled parts of DPR. DPR forces told TASS that Ukrainian defenses in Novogrodovka near Krasnoarmeysk is "crumbling."

On the night of August 20, the Russian Aerospace Forces launched a precision strike on the control center and a military warehouse of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the border Sumy region.
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the successful attack and supported the claims with the footage filmed by Russian reconnaissance UAV in Ukrainian rear.
As a result of the precision attack, the command staff of the 47th brigade of the AFU suffered heavy losses. The command post of the ‘elite’ Ukrainian Magura brigade was destroyed in the town of Gluhov. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the strike was launched at night from a Su-34 fighter jet with aviation bombs with universal planning and correction modules.
This notorious AFU unit was equipped by the NATO military and consists of servicemen trained in NATO countries. They were thrown into the battles in the Zaporozhie region, then to the Avdeevka front. Today, the elite unit is involved in the ongoing operations in the Russian Kursk region. However, no NATO military equipment nor training help them to achieve any victories and hide from the devastating strikes of Russian missiles.

Impose a tax for sales beyond the quota, like a traveling or quintupling of import price. Price andrew, the monies gained to Ukraine.

Over the past week, the Russian army has captured an area of about 80 square kilometers and seized control of the settlements of Mykolaivka, Zhelanne, Orlivka, Lysychne, Ivanivka and Svyrydonivka, according to DeepState - Russia’s most significant military advance since May.
“Based on the intensity of the assaults, it can be assumed that the Russian army intensified their attacks in this area after they realized that the main part of the Ukrainian reserves was engaged on another section of the front,” said Alexey Alshanskiy of the Conflict Intelligence Team (CIT), an independent organization that conducts open-source investigations of the Russian military.
