One thing I love is how, when you shut the doors, it actually makes the same sort of sound as a real car door shutting, just a slight bit smaller.

Hi Wayne. Nice video as usual. I can't be sure, but it looks like the vent on the rear door was upside down when you installed it. The flat edge should be down when installed or water would be funnelled into the interior of the vehicle when it rains.

Even I had to check as my OCD went mad after reading this lol .
The paint and finish looks amazing on this. Pro-Tip: once you get the car finished use actual car wax on the model to keep it shined polished and fingerprint free.
Been waiting since November to get this pack and it just shipped yesterday. Its a shame cause if they were shipping like they should I would be up to issues 119, 120, 121, and 122 right now leaving me just another 5 months to complete. Now I wont be completed till December if they dont delay issues anymore.
But at least its giving the part works people time to bring out mods though, still waiting to get interior mods before I can attach everything to the chassis.

Looking good. Just got my power mod in and another shipment of detail parts from Mike Lane. Only issue I had was one of the magnetic wheel caps went in and wont release like the plastic is too snug fitting on the hubcap. But thats no big deal for me, I mainly wanted the correct centers I dont foresee a reason to be pulling the caps off.
Only thing holding me up now is getting the interior upgrades, I hear Model Modz is working on a scanning police scanner as well as the scope which I really want to get for mine and I hear Model Modz is working on 3D printed interior pieces such as the under dash heater box which I am wanting to get those pieces. I would get them from the other guy but it seems like Model Modz is going to offer the same components for less which is what I am holding out for.
Finally got issue 8 building the enterprise d and porsche box 3 had it delivered today. Its too warm to attempt to do it right now
Looking great, but I had a little thing to point out then noticed that Gary Whitfield had already pointed out your little mistake with the rear door vent detail that you obviously made deliberately so we don't have to 😂.
Lol. Yep. It's all fixed. I got issue 29 today too with the replacement door so more then 1 door has been removed now
@@WorldofWayneUK You seem to be becoming a dab hand at building miniature vehicles, I have the entire front end off my real car at the moment so I could get to the gear box, feel free to drop by Salisbury to help my mate and rebuild it if you're up for the challenge. I know you love electronics and there's tons of that to put back in 😂. Just kidding buddy, I could suggest a CZcams video titled 'Restoring Ecto 1' though. It gives you some lovely detail shots.

Hi, Wayne. In your previous Ecto batch of build videos you mentioned that you were going to remove the pre-installed rear door sticker and replace it with a Mike Lane sticker. Did you end up doing this? I was wondering how difficult it was/would be to remove the existing sticker.

On 106 I have only one hole , had a few problems over last 10 or so issues. Don’t know whether to drill it through or just build with the single screw .
I would see how it holds. Drilling as a last resort
when you put the rear door on the witch was to the left, did you have to take the door off to reset the switch to the right so the door would flip it when opened? or did opining the door let you get the switch in the right place?
The opening door let me locate the switch

Going to ask a dumb question but here goes. With the email we got about the right hand door with no wing mirror, it says the replacement is coming in issue 107 (I would call that Stage...!) shipment 28. I presume shipment 28 is actually Issue 29, because that's the next issue you'll be getting with stages 107-110?
The replacement door comes in stage 107-110. I have it here already. It will be on the channel on Friday

@@WorldofWayneUK I bought the first issue to try it out, but it's 140 issues and there can't be THAT many parts so you're going to get lots of issues with very little to do. Plus I got the email about Titanic launching (no pun intended) on 22nd Jan so that's got to be my first choice

That rear fender could have been just one piece, that's an odd way to stretch out the number of issues on that build...
Funny enough I got the next stage today. I will probably have this up on Monday
Well, that is accurate to how the actual car is constructed, even if there should be a large cutout below the attached panel. You can see that most clearly when Ray pulls up to the firehouse after buying the car in the first film. Admittedly they were actually different cars, but it was still a 59 Cadillac hearse/ambulance.
