Love the little trail map on screen and commentary on history, camping etc. I believe the red trees are Madrone (though ill see for myself) Manzanita are smaller and kinda more bush like.
@@Squirlybumrush thanks for watching & commenting! You may well be correct on the trees - the red color is very striking. I do love reading up on the history and geology of these dirt backroads, the Klau and Buena Vista mines in particular were very surprising (that it is an EPA Superfund and the impact on the area esp Lake Nacimiento).
