What an honest guy. Kudos! I need one of these for my wife. She can't walk at all and I need to drive a pick up truck. I have an old Bruno Joey lift that quit working.

You absolutely should not use the tail light circuit pn your vehicle to power the lift. I work privately with mobility equipment and make special adaptors that plug into the 7 way round plug to utilize the 12volt "RV charge power. The Pride Sillverstar lift that you have and the Harmar lifts take a Weatherpack plug and the Bruno lifts take a different plug. I build an adaptor that also has the 4 flat plug if someone wanted to use the tag lights. On your vehicle that doesn't have the 7 way round connector you should run a dedicated 12ga wire from the battery. I make those harnesses too and they are also available pretty reasonable online.

Have CRPS, supplement with 400mg to 800mg of magnesium citrate everyday. Be certain to take a full spectrum of all vitamins and minerals every day with your biggest meal. For general health use intermittent fasting which is to limit food consumption to one window of 4 to 6 hours a day. No snacks no sweetened coffee. Coffee is ok when it's black with just a bit of stevia. As an example start eating say at 12 noon. One single big meal, similar to supper within that window with maybe a veggie smoothie as a small final meal. End the window at 4pm to a max of 6pm if started at 12. Can vary some day to day. No food at all outside of the window. No sodas etc. Water only. Stevia sweetened zero-calorie beverages are an option. No sugar alcohols. No alcohol. You will be hungry some but you will also realise that this is very good for you health. And it sheds body fat well. Be sure to add in some exercise.
