    My lift it's so different, is the ones that fold inside the van. I don't recommend them because they're so annoying, if the ground is not level the flap's won't go down. I've thought about removing the flap's but I am afraid to roll off and breaking my neck.

    Hello, again I'm needing to replace my lift because I just got a new F3 and my old chair is a C300 like yours, and as you know the F3 is much heavier. I have a single-arm 600lb max lift right now, and I have the same van as you. I just picked up a Braun millennium series. The platform is 43lnchs long, but it doesn't look long enough, and I want to make sure before ripping the old one out that I'm a quad, so it's been difficult to get in having to lay my upper body flat to go in, and out but anyway do you know how long the platform is on the lift in this video it would greatly help me. Thanks

    Hi Dan I am going to use the old lift out of my van to make a chair lift for the garage will you be making a video when you build your lift setup ? As always great video.

      @@TotallyNormal- Great, I would love to see that as well. I have a spare Bruno Joey lift which is different but would work similar. I can get down on the floor if needed, but the problem is that I can't get up off the floor without major assistance. I have some electrical work I need to do, (back up camera) I already have the parts and know what I want to do but getting the wheelchair up to where that I can work on it is the problem.

    • @TotallyNormal-
      @TotallyNormal-  Před 4 lety +2

      for "some reason" a bit of the fluid leaked out of mine whilst it was on the trailer LOL quick ATF topup and good as new! ;^)

    Hey Dan I have a simple question on my Controller on my 2019 Permobil M5 with corpus seating! The rocker for turtle and Hare is sticking and some times 4locks my chair from starting ? Any dry lubes I can safely use? I can shoot you a video if it would help!

    • @TotallyNormal-
      @TotallyNormal-  Před 2 lety

      thats a tricky one.. the only way to clean it, is to completely disassemble the joystick, and clean the back side of the carbon-rubber switches.. not much that can be done from the outside unfortunately :^/

  • @Warren1814
    @Warren1814 Před 2 lety +1

    I have a question for you Totally Normal. If that clip came lose like we see it has in this video. How was your lift able to deploy without that pin thing attached to the spring / doesn't the lift depend on that to deploy? Just asking is because sometimes mine doesn't want to deploy either.

    • @TotallyNormal-
      @TotallyNormal-  Před 2 lety +2

      ya can have someone reach down and lift up on the bridgeplate itself a little bit, and it will disengage that latch.. then the lift should be able to deploy. i have to do that occasionally after driving on bumpy gravel roads, and the mechanism gets jammed up a bit

    Hi Dan, quick question, I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 high top conversion van with a Ricon K series lift. My question is I’m looking for a driver’s transfer seat base. All respect to Braunability but ever since they bought out B&D transfer seat they kinda have a restrict on who can purchase one from them. I have a mechanic friend who can install it for me in my van, but Braunability wants the buyer to be certified in installing one of those bases. Any advice on how I can purchase a transfer seat base? Thanks Dan

    • @TotallyNormal-
      @TotallyNormal-  Před 2 lety +1

      the mobility vehicle industry has been gotten pretty locked down recently.. shops that install some of the stuff cant even get proper documentation in some cases! other than buying things used on the secondary market, i haven't found a workaround at this point :^/

    • @TotallyNormal-

    Is the floor reinforced underneath where the lift if bolted to the floor?

    • @TotallyNormal-

      19:20 in the video shows underneath the van.

      @@TotallyNormal- Thanks......I asked the question before that part was shown. I just purchase a Ricon lift and there were 4 long square-shaped tubes in the box of parts. After watching your video I assume they were placed underneath the floor to give support. Each was 23 inches long.
