"One thing you can never say.........is that you weren't told."......my favorite line from the entire series. Thanks for sharing.
The “Big Mouth Billy Bass” was a real product back then, and they were EVERYWHERE
Sign of the times
I want one lol and then rewire it to be a bluetooth speaker :p since that song goes over people’s heads…
The show ran on HBO, which was a cable subscription service then. It's now Max. But since it was subscription, there were no filters. Usually new episodes were on at 9pm on Sundays.
One of life's little pleasures is to bring up CZcams after a tough day and see a new Sopranos reaction by Cristy is available. Just makes you smile.
I love this! Sorry you had a tough day ☹️ Anytime I have a hard day I wanna sit and record the Sopranos. So I’m happy to see the ripples this show makes 🥰
small fun fact about the doctor in episode 7, he plays another doctor role in Breaking Bad :)
That's so cool. I also heard "Juan Bolsa" is a nod to Johnny Sack as English it means Johnny Bags. But bag can also be "Sack" and Juan's role in BCS is very similar to Johnny's intermediary dealings with Jersey and NYC
He plays the dad of the snobby girl in addams family values
Robert Iler said on his podcast that he had a serious cocaine addiction during the filming of the sopranos. That's crazy
Is it?
@@normie2716 it is
Pine Barrens (Season 3, Episode 11) you should do separately. It is a classic and fan favorite!
This⬆.. I mean, it makes sense.. there's 13 ep. in season 3, so they're gonna have to pick one to do a singular ep.
"Johnny level-headed." 🤣 Remember you said that.
find someone who looks at you the way uncle junior looks at dr. kennedy
🤣🤣🤣
Tony would put 100 kids in a "trash compactor" before he ever hurt an animal
You should do a supercut of all the individual seasons, the way you did with season 1. That's how I found your channel.
Great idea. Thank you!
Lol my grandpa must've had a dozen of those singing fish hahaha they made all sorts of different fish with different songs. Drove my grandmother crazy with them. RIP to both of those angels.
It wasn't on TV... it was HBO... and it aired Sunday nights.
Your sense of humor is honed to perfection. You know exactly what to laugh at AND how hard to laugh. I've seen many people react to the Sopranos who for some reason, don't seem to get the whole enchilada.
Very impressive.
This is my favorite compliment of my entire life! Thank you! 🙏🏼
@@CristyReacts You're welcome......
Being one of those people that get a "free pass" thanks to my grandfather, a couple uncles and a cousin, or two.....I only speak the truth (usually).😉
Amazing you know that song
My brother showed it to me waaaaay back in the day!
Splendid! It feels like ages ago since the last one.
"He has Risen" Cristy: Oh God. Perfect response.
Can’t wait to see your reaction to Episode 11 of Season 3
How can anyone believe that Sal went in the wpp ? They always put the family in it too
GiGi going that way, like the actor said at the start of the sopranos docu he narrated, “when you gotta go, you gotta go” 🤷🏻♀️😂
As an Australian, it made me happy you know and like The Captain by Kasey Chamers
It’s been great seeing your reaction, I love this show and am happy when others dig it. I’m always going back and rewatching the show a few time a year.
Thanks for following along since the beginning!
38:09 so bitter sweet. Wow. Imagine being so happy to move up in the ranks, ready to celebrate from all the success and yet so awkwardly unwelcome by the higher powers.
the show ran at 9pm or 10pm on HBO. Not everyone had HBO in those days. HBO and Cinemax was the wild west of TV and I think were governed by different obscenity laws.
Scenes with Uncle Junior and Bobby or anyone else. Chefs kiss 😚. Love your reactions!! 😍👍
Sam McMurray, the actor who plays Junior's doctor, also played Walter White's surgeon in 'Breaking Bad'.
Wasn't he also supervisor O'Boyle?
Chase said The Sopranos is about people who lie to themselves (which we all do). Once you have that knowledge, the show takes on a different perspective.
Hes being heartless bc it really fucked him up, what Ralph did to Tracee. Everyone else, the other guys are like eh. Whatever. Or they say its messed up and thats it. Tony, as much as he can be a cold blooded killer, also has a heart, and a conscience and feelings and the girl thing just haunts him... so he just csnt stomach being nice to Ralphie. Maybe its pride, too, he has no shortage of that. But yeah.. he just cant let it go.
Waiting for this! Thank you
Awesome reaction of my favorite episode of The Sopranos!!!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Junior is paranoid about Tony, when in fact Tony has almost like father/son relationship with him, even after Junior tried to kill him, which Tony knows about (which is all water under the bridge and just business). Junior thinks about it like a gangster and how it is "all in the game", while if he thought about it as an uncle, he would see genuine concern/love from Tony. In fact, Tony doesn't need Junior to be either weak or even dead, what benefit he would get from it?
Also, this apology thing is like kids in the school, honestly, "I won't apologize until he apologizes to me", not talking, giving looks, like cmon.
I’m so happy you knew that kasey chambers song. Never seen a reactor even care lol. One of my fav outros song wise
Back to the sopranos 😮.
@40:57
Bet you didn't expect *that* song to appear in a dark comedy crime drama about sociopathic organized criminals lol
Almost every character in this show is a huge piece of shit and the writers are incredible enough to make you like them and then brutally remind you just how much they suck when your appreciation for them is at its peak.
Watched the show at 9 ET on Sunday nights...HBO showed most everything in the evenings, regardless of content.
I don't think Tony wanted to smooth things over. He wanted Ralphie to know he still loaths him.
Its funny junior was questioning tonys intensions and didn't even know tony went the extra mile with dr.kennedy for him.
Thumbs up because of the singing 😊
Can't wait for Episode 11!
My favs back
HBO series love. Sunday night 9pm if I remember correctly
Season 3 is when the audience starts to really see how sociopathic and heartless these people are. Things about to get wild…..
oh just you wait until you see what people who are bigots such as not being vegan, speciesist (fine with zoos, aquariums, circuses), breeders, etc do! these people are selfless heroes by comparison!
team “lots of pulp” 🙋🏻♀️✊🏼😂
Season 3 feels so short for whatever reason but it was a good season.
15:01 it's a pillow.
It wasnt on regular tv it was on HBO. Like around 9pm on Sundays.
😂😂😂14:19 Junior is hilarious
14:36 😂😂😂 Junior has the best one liners in the whole show!
"I don't want to see you and your stupid hair" ROFLMAO @ that comment🤣🤐
Love your reactions to the Sopranos! Just wish you uploaded them a little more often 😔
We'll try to stick to a weekly schedule! Life keeps getting in the way :/
Meadow's age:
She's a 1st year student at Columbia University, so 18-19 y.o.
Hey Cristy just wanted to say hi. I watch most of your videos at work when and for some reason my work computer won’t load the comment section on CZcams anymore. So keep up the great work and thank you for all the awesome entertainment!
I feel bad for uncle Jun, wish they’d have known about healers, cod & weed, etc…
idk the age difference between meadow and tracee but in real life it’s only 4 days! ariel kiley being only 4 days older than jamie-lynn sigler! so yah that hits him…
Introducing Gloria, another interesting character you are about to find out, love your new outro music
The Songs on the Outto ate cookies and hints towards where things are headed. Ypu need to play them and listen to the lyrics after each and every episode. This will insure You understand S#5 Ending to Cold Cuts.
Typo's Outro & are
11:25 That was a good plug for Drea De Matteo’s OnlyFans😂😂😂 But it literally saved her and her family’s life after her apartment burned to the ground and the acting roles dried up! 👌🏾💯
Showing your ass to the entire world for money can sometimes come with bad repercussions later on in life. Go fund me could have been more appropriate.
Paulie is my favorite on this show. Only actor who isn't acting😅
"you just take anything?!"
Ahh the glory days of pre fentanyl drug scenes. Glad I'm only sticking to things i can grow in my house because it wouldn't be enjoyable having a lug a drug testing kit to every rave / party / etc ...
Tony is a sadistic man, but he is an animal lover. Coco was never in any danger.
wow, wow! the dog?
@@bazil9394 dont be an idiot
I think he's referring to Joey Diaz.
Good choice on the new outro music, it's a lot more chill.
Nice! I was thinking of your feedback!
@@CristyReactsI appreciate it, Cristy.
@@thatswhyidrink It's actually a custom made track by my brother! he called it "Cristy Relax" haha
Sopranos is a premium paid cable show on HBO, that allows for uncut and explicit content.
Hey! Thanks for stopping by the stream yesterday! 🙏🏼
Thanks for being awesome! Waiting for you to cover Bruce Thomas from Elvis Costello and The Attractions :)
@@CristyReacts Sounds fun, not too familiar! Let me know what song, and I'l see what I can do! 👏🏼
"Pump It Up", of course! 1978. Very creative and cool bassline! You've been doing a lot of punk stuff and this is the kind of bridge between punk and new wave!
15:00 - He had to wear a fat suit for this role.
I would have clipped Ralphie
I have a great admiration for my cardiologist. My weight loss journey is going smoothly and I trust him completely. He has recommended other types of doctors to me, and since they are his trusted colleagues, they all have a collaborative mindset when it comes to treating me.
Love you hun.❤
Your sopranos reactions are great
after you finish the sopranos i HIGHLY suggest you watch OZARK, its a dark crime dark comedy show that has a lot in common with the sopranos but is very much its own thing but ITS SO GOOD, SO WELL MADE
Tony was right the way he dealt with Jamal Ginsberg
I’m not gonna lie. I love the way, Tony treated Ralph in episode eight because fuck him. There’s this old saying you treat others the way you want to be treated so there you go Ralph likes to treat everybody like a fucking asshole, and not only that but Ralph was cold and heartless towards Tracy, so you know what Tony decided to give him a taste of his own medicine he decided to let him know how it feels to be treated with such coldness and heartlessness. Not only that, but Ralph is a terrible human being. He’s just a sick, twisted sadistic, freak who nobody likes and nobody respects the only reason why everybody puts up with him is because they’re forced too because he’s a good earner. Like he doesn’t deserve to be captain. He didn’t even deserve to be a made man to begin with. This is what happens when too much power and influence gets handed to the wrong person, especially somebody like Ralph they obviously abuse the fuck out of it. And they end up doing terrible things because they can get away with it because of who they are. This is why I feel like nobody should be handed power, or some kind of success because time and time again, nobody can handle it because it gets to their head and it changes them power and success turns people into monsters.
You gotta bee onya hat.
Meadow's roommate is not just depressed, she's bipolar.
16:22 .... Coco's safe .... there's no way Tony's in the atf.
Lol 2024 Western countries all need a therapist like the one Carm went to. Just gimme the cold hard truth doc
You should react to this youtuber who was a ex mobster of the New york michael franzese who also reviews mob movies and shows.
New caddy, healthy happy dog… Angie was full of shit and Tony knew it.
Don't take this as me having experience in such things cause i don't... But why would Paulie go for clean laundry. Wouldn't it just smell like laundry detergent? 😂
Tony loves animals so he wouldn't hurt Coco. But he can be very vicious with people though
Did you dye your hair? "Ohhhh!"
I’m not sure if anyones already has mentioned it but you should check out A Bronx Tale
It's on the list!
I second that, i have a feeling youll love it :)
@@CristyReactslove to hear I’m sure you’ll love the movie :)
@@CristyReactsjust got to warn you the film contains a fair bit of racist language
Cristy, have you heard the good news?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like The Sopranos, I like reactions, and I like Latinas. So, your vids have been awesome. I even think your voice is good for this, since it's not all high and squeaky like some.
👏👏👋👋👏👏👋👋👏👏👋👋
How often do you update weekly,Bi-weekly or monthly? 🤠✌️
The funny thing is the actor playing Bobby was actually wearing a fat suit in these seasons, but he becomes fat enough after this season.
Drea De Matteo's OF is very sexy but nothing nude or anything like that... just what I've heard - not that I would know of such things. You didn't hear that from me!
Hahahahaha 🤣 ok but I’ve seen a couple of things and you’re right
@@CristyReacts Steve Schirripa (Bobby) and Michael Imperioli (Christopher) did a long-form podcast series where they watched/rewatched every episode during the pandemic and interviewed various people involved in the show for each episode. You should definitely check it out once you're done with the show. Unfortunately, a lot of people, myself included, found Steve could be very annoying on the podcast (not letting other people talk etc.), but I think Imperioli is really intelligent and insightful and some of the interviews (especially with David Chase) are really great.
Don't look it up now though, be very afraid of spoilers!
It's available on CZcams because they recorded it as video.
Huh. I never noticed they said Sparta High. That was my high school. Odd, we're out in the boonies.
I'd like to say, its not that paulie was EVER any better in previous seasons, its just you're beginning to know him well enough to know when he's lying or being a kiss-ass, you'll see s1-s2 paulie in a different light after you finish the show
he's the biggest snake of them all, and I've been so excited for you to see that since I first heard you comment on how much you loved paulie
OoOohhhh interestiinnngggg! I definitely really really like him (although lately he's been disappointing me) but I always thought he was loyal and patient with Tony. I guess I'll wait and see what's up with him in the seasons to come!
@@CristyReacts that you will, think about this too, Paulie and Junior are the two oldest gangsters in the Jersey family, yet they never hang around eachother ever, why is that?
They’ve known each other long enough to have reasons to hate one another
Why do people blame Paulie for putting Christopher through these probationary checks? Both Tony and Sil said it: PROBATIONARY PERIOD. Yes, Paulie sniffing the panties was out of line, but everything else was a result of orders from the very top. Jeez.
Funny how the probationary check starts being enforced when Paulie refuses to pay Chris when they're playing pool
Because Paulie was just being a bully. He didn't have any concern about Christopher doing anything wrong. That was just an excuse to harass him.
@@positivelynegative9149 If Paulie were just being a bully, Tony or Sil would've been on Christopher's side. They both backed Paulie, except for the panty sniffing. Silvio was standing right there at the pool table when that first strip search went down.
@@positivelynegative9149 yes, it is ruthless pyramid-like structure, with all sorts rules and obligations that any cult would envy
The words "bully" and "harass" are not applicable to these people when they are interacting with each other.
They are all sociopaths, well ... most of them, and are actual "bullies" to the world outside of them/their families. To each other? That's just occupation hazard.
So Paulie shouldn't be even concerned about being "whatever", that is the way they operate, there is no HR or anything like that to report to, only seniority, and even than, rank first (and let's not forget that Chris is in a very privileged position within the structure)
Hey Cristy... You gotta bee on your hat
Anyways, $4 a pound.
11:23 - and then everyone pauses the video haha sorry 🤷♂
I told you sooner or later you’ll hate Pauly.
What is it with women and
shoes? It's like men and cars i guess, both ridiculous to obsess over.
