Very resourceful! These work practices promote employment, but at a cost to the workers. Safety shoes, gloves, eye protection, spray/breathing protection? All missing. Please tell me this is a Workplace Health and Safety "before" film, and at least these basic protections are now available and in use. Painting a rusty part is a recipe for future problems.

I drove a cab over Hino in Miami for almost 10 years. Great truck. Easy to repair with very little specialized equipment. Was pushing 400k miles on original motor and tranny and ran like a top when I left. Wouldn't doubt it if truck is still on the road

I remember when they used to make all bumpers out of steel...
Right on... And remember when chrome plating used to be almost 1/8" thick on some things?..
Nowadays, if you get a chromed steel bumper on anything, the chrome peels off like a layer of paint in a couple years or less.

It's not Hino it's UD Nissan bumper
And it's not a casting, it's a pressing.
Expensive to trim with oxy-acet. They paint over a lot of rust - that's a bit slack. Bumper bar shown at the end already has a small dent in it.
Just wondering where are the market for these bumpers, and if these heavy duty bumpers need to be replaced at all.
If they wish they can build F16.

Frickin primitive engineering. They have not even thought of piercing the blank before bending. The fuys are going in the machine to clamp the blank for forming. Zero safety. No protection while painting.
