i know she seems kindve controlling but her groom didn’t get anything done and this seems like he’s constantly making promises he doesn’t complete. She’s paying for the wedding entirely and she probably feels like she has to overcompensate for his actions.
she'll end up deeply bitter and disappointed...he is a manchild and broke. she can't be both, a husband and a wife. it is sad what the woman won't do to get a baby, a family.

Jeeze I'm honestly kinda surprised these two even went thru with the wedding. I mean of course I hope that everything works out and theybare happy. It's possible this sneak peak into their dynamic isn't the norm and just from wedding stress but if this is how they always are I don't see them being happy but as I said I hope I'm wrong.

@@b1k2q34 Exactly, a lot of it is played up for the show. Sometimes when you're watching these shows you can see them trying not to smile as they're "fighting" because the producing are asking them to do it.
More than likely, it's possible this was entirely scripted, especially the drama.
Everybody, pay attention to whether you are passive-agressive, and constantly undermining your partner. This is a sure way to destroy a loving relationship. Like the bride in this show, you might be doing it and not realizing it because this may be how your family of origin communicated. It is absolutely toxic in a relationship and with co-workers.
Is anyone else asking why are these two people getting married and how long will it last?
My friend married a guy like this. He was so lazy and unmotivated. They got divorced.
I love the 1950 theme. They did a great job with the dress and decor.
I don’t like either the bride OR the groom. Why would you elect to marry someone you can’t get along with? They were still arguing after the fact.
This couple reminds me of my grandparents and they were madly in love and happily married 60 years. They had shared interests but opposite personalities that somehow balanced each other out. Playful bickering was part of their dynamic and it worked for them.
Hmmmm - if these two split up within six months, it would not surprise me whatsoever.🤷🏽

I don't blame her for standing her ground about the outdoor wedding. I've always wanted a wedding that's all outdoors. That's a hill I'm willing to die on. Granted, her entire wedding wasn't outdoors. Still, I appreciate her gumption!

Funniest part of this episode is watching her try to wear the bird cage 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ It doesn’t go over your eyes like that 😂😂😂 its supposed to be set back closer to the bun , lightly off centered and just the front edge of the cage leaning over the forehead, this chick straight up stuck it to her head and over her eyes like its a vail 😂😂😂

Second venue was far better and holee crap that dress turned out phenomenal. His vows made me almost cry. These two really won me over by the second half of the episode.
This is why my husband and I got married at the Justice of the Peace and did not go thru all of this stuff for a one day event. We have been happily married over 30 yrs.

The thing about venues especially if they are a big venue and usually stay booked is why don't they have just about anything that a couple could think of for their wedding because out sourcing is ridiculous. And these things shouldn't be that expensive and what is with all the extra fees. Now so you know I worked for country clubs and halls as server and head captain so I know what goes into staging an event.
This is just her personality. I don’t think it’s anything personal with the groom. Look at how she treats her mum. She’s that person that pitches a fit if you don’t see things her way. They are the definition of polar opposites. but hey, maybe it works for them. I just see him saying, “yes dear” for the rest of his life. 😂

This m ight be scripted for drama/ratings/conflict. Yes, she was bossy but he was very immature and really truly had no great contribution (not talking money). I do feel sorry about teh nachos as he seemed to really want that - I was hoping when they switched venues he coud get the nachos. I guess he couldh ave donea tailgate preparty outside for nahos lol But to be honest the canue added nothing but costs. Her dress was lovely bravo to mom. the venue looked nice. I do think some of the other dresses could have been reworked too. One thing that bothered me is that those balls and lanterns needed some greenery. The arch really seemed like it was missing flowers. if money was tight twenty five dollars of seeded eucalypsus accents would have been amazing.

What happens when 2 controlling people- the bride and wedding planner- team up against the groom. The bride should have married the wedding planner- they are a good fit. But the groom was awesome because he was creative and fun. He is going to be controlled by her for the rest of his life.
