Thanks for having us on your podcast! We had a great time! 😊🥰
You guys were great! You inspire us to explore the idea of living in the Philippines 🇵🇭 😊
To the expats who like the stress free and laid back lifestyle that the Philippines has to offer, you have to remember that it comes at a price. Don't expect things to be rushed. You want a laid back lifestyle but at the same time you want the people to rush things. Well, they don't go together.
So don't complain if things are not done in a rush. Being stress free is associated with not rushing things. If you want a laid back lifestyle, then don't complain of the laid back attitude of the people. You are not the only one who wants a stress free life. Unfortunately, the workers also want a stress free life. 😅
YOU SPEAKING TRUTH. THE WORKERS DAMN SURE AIN'T RUSHED LOL😅😅😅
Correct agree 100%
agree...i noticed that most foreigners complain about how things, especially employees here. They're quite slow.
we filipinos in general don't really complain about it because we're used to it and we don't want to rush them. They're tired from standing all day long, wearing heels.
on top of that, it's hot here in the Ph and if they move fast, it will be hotter.
filipinos working abroad are only moving fast because the weather outside Ph is cold..
@@MakaiIELTS I DISAGREE ABOUT THE HEAT AND STANDING ALL DAY. IT'S WAY HOTTER IN TEXAS, ARIZONA, NEW MEXICO ETC. AMERICANS STAND ALL DAY AT SOME OF THE JOBS ALSO. NOT BEING MEAN I'VE BEEN MARRIED TO A FILIPINA 20 YRS AND LIVED HERE FOR 6 AND OWNED A WATER STATION FOR 5 YEARS HERE. NOT BEING MEAN FILIPINOS ARE LAZY !!!
Nagsesettle kasi kayo for less, kaya di nag-iimprove quality ng service naten!
Wjat i like about them is the guy being super open to do everything his wife wanted lol i also checked their earlier videos, even with few views to no engagement, the guy was really loving and a very willing participant to her channel. Like he didnt mind if it would get views or not, he just wanyed to support her to her youtube dream. And im glad it's now working out bec he was there to participate and support even if there's super low views in the beginning even before they really left US. It's the only video when they posted they're moving that really got high engagement! Im also amazed. They look genuine. They look like a real dupportive couple to one another. Plus their baby and dog are super cute!
Thanks for having us bro 💯
I started following them when they moved to the philippines. I give Cav a huge respect, its not easy to get out of your comfort zone.
It wasn’t easy at all but I can say is I came into this with an open mind and I’m glad I did it.
It wasn’t exactly hard for him she has family in Philippines….
Welcome to the Philippines! It’s more fun here! Just enjoy your life and you will be ok. I ‘ll search your channel and subscribe to help you. Surely it will be hard to adjust during your first few months but don’t worry you will adjust to our life style here. Just get use to eat rice😊because rice is life here😊❤️🇵🇭.
Been watching their videos lately and they seem to be genuine and down to earth people. Glad you interviewed them 😊
Another great video Evan glad I jumped on this one. I told y’all being black in Philippines is a good thing glad to see it from someone else. I hope y’all enjoy and love that new transition. Will jump on your channel to see how the visa extension went etc
Yessir! It’s a fortunate thing to be black in the Philippines 🇵🇭
Laid back Philippines equals to stress free living. No rush cause you'll get there to where you want to be.
Absolutely!
Eversince Filipinos many dreams is seizing the American dreams but more than 5 years ago until recently i notice that there are droves of Filipinos Americans tracing their roots back to the Philippines.
Congratulations! Thank you so much for sharing your experiences 😊 I feel you about challenges just getting here. I can’t wait to see you guys 1, or even 5 years in!
I can't wait to move!!! I want my son to go to school there and learn his roots. he's 4 now we got a condo in BGC it won't be done til 2026 but I can't wait!
Love this interview 💖 Nice to see Cav and Nicole on your channel 😍
That means a lot, thank you! Nicole and Cav were amazing guests.
I am amazed at their courage being young moving to the Philippines 🇵🇭 . When I was stationed at Clark Air Base, Philippines 🇵🇭 in 1991. I never felt worried about being Black in the Philippines 🇵🇭. Just like the previous video, with the gentleman saying what he felt about being Black in the Philippines 🇵🇭. The reality is I am happy about having a retirement. Just coming close within (36) months of retirement and return to the Philippines 🇵🇭.. Especially now being age (61), widower and children are grown and have children too. Manila area and CEBU are my options for retirement in the Philippines 🇵🇭. Thank you for this video. GOD SPEED.
You did a great job bro! I love the interview, very spontaneous. Cheers to Cav and Nicole! Thank you for sharing your Philippine life. God bless all your YT channels.
We're going to subscribe to your vlog Cav and Nicole.
Yes please do!
Awesome interview! Can't wait to see your channel and businesses thrive!

I have only son half japanese and watching your video makes me decide to move with my son in the Philippines,at first im afraid many questions in my mind what if i die what will happen to my son ? But then watching your videos hmm maybe after few years we will go home for good ❤

Drop some barber shop names. Total in Ayala Mall I paid $5.40 + $1 tip

Ridgewood towers. 4 minutes away from BGC. Close to SM Aura Market Market Mall. Opposite Korean Embassy. Great rental prices. Good location. Love this place.
Just found this on my recommended. Gonna binge watch the vids 😅

welcome to the Philippines.
WELCOME TO PHILIPPINES😊❤
Wow this is my first time seeing you interviewing foreigners you should do more keep it up
The US certainly has a strong influence on the Philippines and the Filipinos.
Wow , I did nit know it is cheaper to live in Jersey than here in LA. . Going out for Diner here for 2 cost from 60 to over 100 dollars easy , and rent for 1 bedroom ? 1500. 2000 and up we paying almost 6 bucks per gallon on gas up to 8 in some places , I definitely looking forward to moving there in a few months . American Dream is dead on my opinion . Never thought I’d leave LA but this place is ruined by dumb Politicuans
For sure man, New Jersey although not cheap, is still more affordable than L.A.
Come out to the Philippines 🇵🇭
This is a decent woman, not looking for a rich man and a 6 footer, shes not a delusional. I hope and wish you have a good life there, successful and stays for good.
@@TheSavvyExpatThe Philippines is for rich Filipinos only Foreigners can't own lands in PH & can only own 40% of PH business or corporation if the main Fil. owner allows it Mr Savvy Expat PH is not the land of opportunity for foreigners to settle Foreigners can obtain PH citizenship if born & totally raised in PH which is not the case of foreign expat newcomers Why are you encouraging foreigners to settle in PH ?
Mr Gerard The Philippine dream is real for rich Filipinos only Foreigners can't own lands in PH & can only own 40% of PH business or corporation if the main Fil. owner allows it Foreigners can obtain PH citizenship if born & raised in PH which is not the case of foreign expat newcomers
Most of my coworkers lives in jersey. So it's affordable.
If he knows how to play basketball he can get along with locals more
Hey Evan, I just saw you on Calvin's channel and you said your condo price was all inclusive, electricity, water, all utilities included. Is it easy to find apartments that have all utilities included in the price ?
Hi evan, check out matt reardon he’s an american and exploring the philippines he’s staying near bgc and just starting to grow his channel make an interview with him. 😊
They thought Cav is probably an NBA STAR PLAYER, hence the selfies 🤪 . That's Filipino stereo type when they see guys like Cav. 🤩
Nice 👍
First time i encountered advertisement in your channel.
You should visit Dumaguete..... A place for mostly retired foreigners and claimed that this place has changed their lives for good.....
I watch you from Filipina pea, good job very empress you did a good job. ❤❤❤❤ keep it up 👍
Yes, I'm Filiipino... ready to go home myself, it's stressful here.. work home work home very repetitive daily.. however, have savings and continue to work 4 to 3 years before retirement and will be going home myself build a small home living off grid home ..maybe a small business to live on!
Great interview especially you had them on early on their journey. It would be interesting for you to have them back on after a full year moving to the philippines.
❤😮😊
Check out MANAMI RESORT in Bacolod City the Resort is Gorgeous. 🥰😍
* Thank you for another informative video! Would you know how much would be the cost of delivering baby at the hospital in Manila or the province (which I guess is cheaper)?
I really have no clue on that one. Sorry about that!
In government hospitals, it is free if you have Philhealth. If you don't, maybe around 10k pesos for normal delivery and 20kplus for CS.
In private hospitals it would range from P20k pesos up to 100k for normal delivery, it depends on the hospital and the doctor.
@@pinoytunes7707Sss is fine
These two young people haven't been in a supermarket yet, food is just as expensive here as it is in the states. They're not going to do it on 500 a month. And buy diapers and formulas. I live in Dumaguete and veggies in the farm stands are so expensive. Green peppers are 100p each. Potatoes are very expensive. And sorry to say the quality isn't there. Tomatoes are horrible. Sorry to sound negative. Woops, rent is very cheap here on Negros Oriental. 👍 Best of luck to them
lol
Are you white? Maybe if you buy the green peppers by yourself. To the locals it is only P100-P200 per kilo. My groceries plus market only cost P15,000 per month ($260). Less than P10k if at times I need to cut down cost. That's for me and 2 teenagers.
@@pinoytunes7707 what does skin color have to do with anything.?
nahhhh!!! you're making up. I have a vegetable stand in Manila and your price there is ridiculous. You're being scammed there in Dumaguete.
@@user-zl9vi8oc5d the moment they see you're a foreigner, they will charge you more. Just ask the expats here, they rarely buy in the markets (or anywhere if the prices are not fixed). They would normally send their filipina wives or ask a local errand boy to buy their fruits/veggies. AND YES, SKIN COLOR MATTERS HERE BECAUSE WHITE SKIN = DOLLARS. Even as a local, I can bring down the cost just by dressing in comfy clothes and slippers. If I go using a nice attire and jewelries, I usually get charged more, and they would just say that the prices had gone up. LOL.
Nick Canon in the house.. 😅😂😅😂
Hey Evan, thank you so much for your channel. Can you please create a video about citizenship? Is it better to be dual citizen, Philippine citizen or stay as a US citizen. Thanks bud, we appreciate ya
I'd like to know more about those setting up a business...Cav's apparel business in PH 101👍🏽
What questions do you have?
They are just like the British couple Sasha and Jay of Eight Mile From Home with their daughter Story and their AsPin dog who now live in Siargao Island.
Nothing like them ….
They have seen their success and want to copy it ….
That’s not the same ….
I followed jay and sacha from Thailand around 8 years ago ….
These guys are linking up with big CZcamsrs already to skip the hard work ….
She's Filipino, of course she can sing!😅
Cav looks like Chris Paul3
Hahaha
I cannot wair to go back home and retired in my home country
Traffic in the Philippines is chaotic. But everybody seems to know what they're doing. THAT'S Chaotic order. 🇵🇭
I still clean up after I eat in the Philippines to help the crew out.
Would like to hear more about bringing your beloved pets process through airlines and do they need to be quarantined in the Philippines once they get there, I have 3 med size dogs ranging 20-24lbs
you can bring your pets here, but it may cost a lot though.
Some condomoniums don't allow pets, some do.
better to live in a house, especially outside Manila..
I'm sure BGC is still cheaper than whatever they had in Jersey, I bet where they stayed in Jersey was probably crazy dangerous.
Be careful how you spend your money ok! guys😊
I do not know.
Wow $50 Men's haircuts in America
Give your husband the opportunity too talk😊😊😊
She definitely wears the pants in the relationship
Philippines is heaven on earth for rich Filipinos only Foreigners can't own lands in PH & can only own 40% of PH business or corporation if the main Fil owner allows it Foreigners can obtain PH citizenship if born & raised in PH like the prominent Spanish Ayala family which is not the case of foreign expat newcomers
Our president Marcos lived and grow i think in America so you can do it. Make business and surpass your life in the US
Sorry. You guys will struggle Bad mistake leaving nj. Remember there’s no government assistant there. The man followed his wife EMOTIONAL DECISION. Go back to the states. They were not doing well in jersey , what makes them think they will succeed in PH
Go back home and build, buy real estate etc!!!!!
South Jersey is not the real Jersey
How realistic is it for an expatriate family like this to earn a "living wage" from a CZcams channel?
If sponsorships are done right, it’s very possible.
Depends If you can collaborate with big channels asap
These guys want to make money off their followers that’s the reality of it ….
Jersey sucks - it’s expensive, cold, gray and hood-ish.
So the western women thought we Filipinas onlyy wantnto have a green card? Naahh and your baby will grow up like Filipinos.
Maybe its time the world can learn a thing or 2 from this 3rd world country - from using the tabo or bidet to self care and emotional wellness..
Or any country that wasnt aligned with The US or the USSR in the Cold War conflict.
❤❤❤
🔥❤️
Hi evan, check out matt reardon he’s an american and exploring the philippines he’s staying near bgc and just starting to grow his channel make an interview with him. 😊
