Billy and Dusty could and did jam for hours during rehearsals. Great to hear a good ole jam at the beginning.
Billy's night but RIP Dusty.
The first time that I saw ZZ in concert was in the 70’s,,, it’s absolutely amazing that Billy is still out there killing it!
Me, too! I think 1979.
Everybody calm down and enjoy Billy for who he is now and be grateful we still have walking this earth god bless all my brothers and sisters ❤️✌️👍

Splendid music, as slways
A little more volume on Billy's mike would have been good. Great show!
How can't someone not love źz top 💯➕️🎼🎵1️⃣🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸💯👑🎼🎵
Mans got class and can KICK ASS ON THAT THING !!!
❤
I always wondered why a sophisticated #microphone laying on the front of a reverberating FORCE could ever be the better idea for recording quality but what do I know, notta 🐬 #Ampeg Bass clef lovers, while the vast expanse blackened background gives the appearance of #SPACE as some imagine and Others know at this time. XX or ZZ Top 3 times LIVE memories from 70s. What a crew of fine musicians having fun making music. Troubadour out yonder in the hillbilly land of CA, those nutballs know how to have #fun
Great Shredder day!
Man...❤thank U❤...
Tremenda descarga buenicima
love the first number every guitar sounded different. gibson hollow, les paul, strat and whatever billys axe is. to my ears the strat had the best tone followed by the 335
I feel the same! 335 is good sound, but Strat is the best.
agreed
I played that joint in 1968...
It’s really a good performance. The Reverend Billy Gibbons proves how great and talented he is. Even at 74 he’s still got it going on.
This would have been good upload had it been landscape instead of portrait. Fortunately better version are out there in landscape not taken from a phone.
Aquí, aparte de haber un rollo rockero de la hostia, también hay una categoría insuperable.
Un abrazo a los abuelos del rock and roll.
Really missing some Dust !!!!!!!
And there’s Mike on Keyboards!
Carmine Rojas - Bass❤
God further of music
Obviously the sound guys were more of a friends of guitar than singing. RIP Dusty. Every show I’ve seen Billy has some strange objects hanging round his neck.
Great musician.
Muy motivado el mae Bill. Buena banda creando e improvisando 😅
Billy's father conducted the Houston Symphony Orchestra.
This is sizzlin hot. Awesome.
The Truth woke up
Is there anyone COOLER then the REV. Willie G , what are the odds he showers with his shades on
Marty forever guys...!!!
18:38 - play it twice and it wasn't a mistake!
On You
I played at the Troubador probably 20 times back in the late 70s early 80s it never looked that nice LOL
Alot changed after Doug passed away..like everything
Hi happy holly, and please dont operate the steering wheel when consuming the alcohol, unless its for the car,its the good word from reverend jim, best music ever
My only regret, I tuned in at the 50ish minute mark
You didn't miss much my friend!!¡
Billy gibbons que cristo y la virgen Maria y los ángeles y los Santos te te protega bendiciones de un español
#MagnatoneUSA
I might be wrong ,but looks like Billy's axe is a late 1960s Gibson SG with hardtail bridge and two chrome "soap bar" pickups. The Flying "V" style arrow head stock is throwing me off, unless it is a custom made neck. Digging the jam here. My style for my bass. Peace.
The guitar is a custom made sg by Boise Idaho luthier John Bolin.
I remember #Magnatone and I wonder if my memory serves me well because you will not always have search engines so good who kiss the arse of THE MAN, Billy Gates. a/k/a a Microsoft man. Thank you kindly knowing not to complain about farmers with my mouth full. Yes Sir, #music is best. 🐬
Who's runnin' the board ? The vocals are tragic. Have mercy !!
SO FALTAVA MEU BROODER PIOLHO DE COBRA NESSA BANDA🎉😂🎉😂🎉😂
NO!! BILLY GIBBONS...DON'T RETIRE...YOU'RE AN ABSOLUTE LEGEND! The music scene would only be POORER if you retired.😮😁😉🎉
Old Fashion Jam Session... I see a few Tele casters, 1 Strat, billy is on a SG, I a couple Les Pauls... I believe the Bass player is on a P Bass but he's really hard to see
Epiphone Bass
Did you happen to go to last night's show? 12-20-2023 Would love to see video from that one. We were there but only took pics.
No sorry ! Tonight there will be video …someone taped the show you went to …just not up yet …what songs did they play ? How was Robby k? From the doors
@@MusicVault Hey there. The "setlist" was pretty much the same on Wednesday night. They had a bit of a trainwreck near the end of Sharp Dressed Man. Paul Hipp sang different songs than from the first show. Mike Pender was not there. Neither was Matt Sorum. Like Robby Krieger, they must've been the cameo appearances. Robby played Roadhouse Blues and also did Freeway Jam as a nice tribute to Jeff Beck and Phil Chen. Gilby Clarke only played Dead Flowers. Didn't do "Knockin'". It was a great show. About 2.5 hours from start to finish. Do you remember the names of Martin Guigui's daughters and son? Also, what were the family relations of the bassist and their other guitarist? Their performance was a great way to start off the evening. Cheers!
Who was the band that opened up for Billy?
who were the family kids opening the show?
what time did that show start? I am going tonight
8 pm
Thanks!
The guitar tuner on headstock thing screams weekend warrior.
I love the respect Billy gives to all the soloists on this colaberation. Im only half way through the video and I hope the bass player gets a shot at a solo. I have a Jack Casidy bass and would like to here what he can do. PS the vocal level is too low until knokin on heavens door. Just sayin. next song again vocals too low. WTF
Where do these seniors get the energy? Jagger etc etc. pretty impressive
Graves ?
is that a request ?
Must be nice to be a musician !!! I couldn't even hold the guitar the proper way.
In or out ?
fix the audio now.🐬
Great show but lousy audio quality!
too bad the vocals are so low-prolly sounded great in the room
I love Billy , ...long time fan ....this would have been awesome ..... but they had is vocals mike turned way down . They could have done better. Wasn't Billy's faught .
I think he should stick with Fender, Marshall the Mag’s ain’t doin him any favors tone wise….kinda harsh IMO.
Too bad we can't hear his vocals.
Used to love ZZ Top, but it's like seeing an old boxer taking that last fight for the money. Sadening, sorry. love you Billy.
A lot of power coming from the blind man's guitar and olde amplifier. Just kidding about the lead man and how he appears to look like he's blind in those dark shades 😅😊🎉🎉🎉
Not the best I have seen Billy play and whoever the sound engineer was doing the mixing Billys mike was far to low, you could hardly hear him, anyway happy birthday Billy.
Even after many years of playing a lot of guitar players still don’t know when to play major or minor.
Actually a few played in different key 😩
Blur the two , thats the most fun. know the story behind the song . So you dont mess up!
Shouldn't have been onstage if not prepared. Regardless of the occasion, there were too many playing at once.
@@larryn2682 👍
There's 90 guitarists up there, you'd think there'd be a wall of sound blowing the front windows out but it sounds like they're filming a jam session at a retirement home...crank your hearing aids everybody!
Billy is too loud imho give him a 59 and an old fender amp. The Magnatone does not suite him. But never the less it is still a party
Playing "knocking on heavens door" at gibbons 100th birthday was kinda fukd up.
