As a 26 year old dude who’s 5’7” I can’t say I’ve experienced TOO much difficulty dating because of my height (I’m also really aware of who it makes sense to pursue) But taller girls in my past have hit me with the “you’re cute but only if you were a few inches taller…” as time goes on I definitely see the advantages men who are taller experience, I tried to learn how to have “tall man energy” but in situations like this it’s hard to display that & yeah society is open with making that a disqualification
any girl who will instantly blow you off because of your height is definitely toxic asf and not worth thie time...im the same height as you and i've had plenty of experience with taller girls. If you're attractive height doesnt matter.

I guess my circumstances are similar? Honestly, because Im not the type to always think about dating around and I only ever think to deal with women who show interest, my height (5'7" 1/2) has never actually had any impact on me and the women Ive talked to. Im not attracted to the stereotypical "Baddies" but I like well put together women who dont smoke, drink, wear giant eyelashes, excessive makeup, are ratchet, and are very overweight. Too many women fail and fall in these categories and its extremely easy to spot. But I do notice more often than not if you work on your charisma, eye contact, physique, and charm the same ladies that might be like "if only you were taller" will be laying right in bed next to you after a session 🙄

I disagree with y'alls take on the first date, active dates are just more fun and it doesn't have to be anything expensive either. You could go to the beach, park, and just get to know that person rather than sitting down for 30 minutes to an hour just talking and eating.

Well, mind the fact that on an active date, anyone can have a good time with anyone but in comparison sitting down and just eating, only people with great chemistry can pull it off. Hence, it gives you a heads-up on the relationship in later stages.
I think you misinterpreted the point. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with an “active” date. But when someone demands to be taken out and refuses any other simple date options, that’s when it becomes problematic.
