That's so true, I cleared TEA back when I was still playing final. After seven weeks of progress finally reaching this phase with this track... I can't describe the epicness and intense roller coaster of emotions in words.
I know this is just a BGM video, but this is the only DNC perspective I could find so thanks for that, good to know the kinds of times for dances late in the fight.
There’s something about this. It’s just perfect. The nostalgia of Heavensward how we can always look back on that dlc and smile. A distant memory of the past that we will cherish forever. And this to me is the grand tribute. Alexander taking the stage one last time and his assembled theme is just perfection

@@RaxiazRedux This is precisely true. Furthermore, the very final battles of both ultimate fights - i.e. Awoken Ultima Weapon and Alexander Perfected - use a rendition of music from the Eorzean Symphony. I imagine they will try to maintain this consistency for as many ultimate battles as possible.

And those panels NEED to have someone stood inside 'em - I'm not aware of the specifics, but given it's similar to meteor circles where it needs someone inside to nullify or mitigate its effect, letting it go "unclaimed" would likely be very bad for the party. Gotta arrange folks properly to get the most damage out before everyone's halted.

As much as I love this fight, as well as the remixes, I will still never be happy that they removed the drum fills from Locus. They were always my favourite part of that song, and it feels so empty in their absence relative to the original.

In the end. No matter what future Alexander foresaw, he could not win. In every scenario, and every timeline, he sees you emerge victorious. So he chooses the next best option for himself, forcing a "stalemate" between the two of you. Just so you don't win.

They did die to mechanics, though. Three DPS died during perfect alex. It just didn't wipe the raid until enrage (which is good, since that means they get to practice more).
well it was more of a positioning error than anything, somehow the dancer was too far out for the raidwide shield that the scholar dropped and the whm frantically tried to top him off.
From a design standpoint, I agree with the general sentiment that this is the weakest of the three ultimates so far. But aesthetically, this fight is INCREDIBLE. MAY BE EASIER BUT IT LOOKS EPIC AS FUCK AND THIS SOUNDTRACK IS SO FUCKING GOOD.
@@petrus9067 as of 5.5 it’s the hardest fight, but mostly because the dps checks on the storm blood ultimates are way easier because of our better gear. I don’t know where the weakest design claim comes from tho… this fight is probably my favorite or just behind uwu in mechanics design
@@logariffic4433 even with dps checks being easier you still need to do mechanics, there's is nothing in UCoB mechanically that is harder than Nisi or Wormhole. And UwU has 1 hard mechanic in the entire fight (Suppression)

It's even better in the actual fight, all the sound cuts out and a few moments later you hear a church bell toll as the screen slowly fades to black.

@@logariffic4433 even with dps checks being easier you still need to do mechanics, there's is nothing in UCoB mechanically that is harder than Nisi or Wormhole. And UwU has 1 hard mechanic in the entire fight (Suppression)
