- मालदीव और भारत के बीच तनाव बढ़ा और इसका असर अब मालदीव जाने वाले भारतीय पर्यटकों संख्या पर पड़ रहा है..ऐसे में पर्यटकों की संख्या घटने से इसका असर अब मालदीव की अर्थववस्था पर भी देखने लगा है.. मालदीव के विदेश मंत्री मूसा जमीर भारत के पहले आधिकारिक दौरे पर नई दिल्ली पहुंच चुके हैं..मालदीव के विदेशमंत्री ने भारत के विदेशमंत्री से मुलाकात की है... इस दौरान जयशंकर ने कहा कि भारत और मालदीव करीबी पड़ोसी हैं. हमारे संबंधों का विकास हमारे आपसी हितों के आधार पर हुआ है.. जयशंकर ने कहा कि मालदीव की विकास यात्रा में भारत अहम साझेदार रहा है.
