There are channels like karl jobst who explained the case, he even shows the proof.
Billy mitchell never actually played on an original donkey kong arcade machine, so he got an advantage of using a modified 8 way controller instead of the original 4 way. This means his donkey kong "record" is faulty. And he and his "friends" gave a false testimony in the court when they said he played on an original donkey kong arcade machine.
karl jobst also explained about other cases of billy mitchell where he was "allegedly" cheating, with most of them proven to be true while the rest remains unsolved due to lack of proof.

Agreed, Ludwig's acting was perfect.
The only times something tipped me off or made me feel like something was sus was when his Jigglypuff did hinky things. Like when it up aired Exter when Ludwig was kind of AFK not even looking at the screen. Or...I don't really know how to explain this really, but Ludwig's Jigglypuff has more charisma. Like...it wiggles with style and taunts his opponents ...like there was this weird lul in playfulness that FELT off.
I didn't hard know exactly what was going on but I kept feeling moments of sus that I shrugged off.
He said "I brought Zain in." And it all clicked to me that starting from exter it was rigged. It was a fantastic play on his end, didn't suspect a thing. So frustrating seeing it in video form. Lol

That season is the pinnacle of reality tv. I didnt really watch melee back in the Ken era so when I saw his "pro gamer" subtitle I had no idea who he was. I really miss when they did the show in locations other than the Fijian Islands.

Not really. There are certain ironclad rules pros do that is almost like a mutual understanding kind of thing. The spacing, the punishes they go for. It can feel almost robotic.
There is a chaotic rhythm to playing against random people on line who don't go for the optimal all the time.

Predictability. There is a thing about beginners luck, and it's due to beginners being unpredictable and messing around and having fun but doing none of the standard moves. Like in chess, there are move sets and ideas for everything to play constant top strategy, but when someone comes in who cares nothing about that then your are constantly changing things on the fly as well. Zane and Ken are pro players who know how to counter pro player moves, when someone swings from the right black from the left. Chat is like if you came after a professional sword man stabbing and charging with no care if you win or loose, that's practically impossible to defend
Ludwig's "'chatters"" have some absolute killers. Fricking Ringler could give Zain's Marth trouble. But overall Zain kinda cleaned up.

I’m really wondering how many people get the reference to him doing this. It’s like a weird core memory i forgot about being brought back into the limelight. I’m pretty sure back in the Smash 4 days a kid went viral in the community for being extremely good, and it turned out to be a pro player playing for the kids behind the scenes. I don’t think I even watched the original video from back then but surprisingly this video touched me. I’m nowhere near as heavily invested in the smash community as I was when I was a teenager but this brought me back. Thanks Lud :)

I watched Ken on Survivor years ago and I had no idea he was actually a pro SSB player.. I remember on his season him saying that he loved video games but never got into details about what he played or how good he was. That’s so cool. I remember his season being really chaotic and fun to watch.

This is a masterclass in scamming (losing to Exter was sandbagging, and switching between him and Zain is similar to the casino technique of changing between weighted and unweighted dice, which makes it harder to notice the cheat). If everybody exposed themselves like Ludwig does, Coffeezilla wouldn't have a channel.
