First Time with the "Fill-n-Drill"

- Hi! My name is Bernie. This is a video of my first time playing with the 'Fill-n-Drill' product. I found it to be lots fun to use. I can practice my tennis alone and without a backboard. You get a good work out... that's for sure! 03/26/2020

I'm a total tennis beginner. I think I will invest in this item. Seems like a good basic tool to keep my interest as I learn. And it looks fun!
I suggest you don't. It's not ideal for beginners, try find a wall play against it

I had a great time with mine yesterday with my new Head Instinct S. Oh it was so much fun. I had a backboard behind me but kept up with the court; it was so much more interactive. I found that putting it right on the center where the service lines meet is perfect for starting a rally!

When I was younger we had Jokari - which was similar to what you've got there - smaller ball and it was invented for Cruise Ships back in the 1930's - how swanky - so... I also played real Tennis but Jokari made me very fast and it helps with response time - you have to be alert

Hi Bernadette just wondering did the rope get in your way and was the base ever sliding on the court when you were hitting.
The rope never really got in my way. The base did not move around. I filled it with water. I think you can also fill it up with sand.

Miss Muegel - I hope you played some Tennis with the Two Chad lee's next to you - with that cute outfit you've got on - I serve well lefty and righty and would love to have a person like you near where I live since so many don't really like Tennis - keep up the great efforts
How's the rebound effect? Is the string/ball good quality? Won't break easily?
service practice only works here if your tennis coach is the hunchback of notre dame ... forehand works ok after some getting used to the return patterns of the ball
of course this is not ideal.... let's get real!

15 feet normally but 30 feet stretched out
my serve is now like yours after playing all my life with an abbreviated and ineffective arm and not much else serve :-)
capricornmagic63 Yes..... I am turning 50 this year and I had to abbreviate my service motion. But, I do try to jump into my serves now. I also added slice spin to my serves.
@@Flip4Chi Pretty much like me, my service used to be arm only, it was adequate but against good players, it would break down under pressure, like if it was a long match and I had long service games. Because I didn't have a proper throwing motion My arm and shoulder would tighten up and get fatigued. Now I can hit flat, slice and on a good day I can hit one or two kick serves!

For something fun...yes.
Kinda makes you feel sorry for the poor little ball! lol
Don't expect to hit with that like you do with a wall. The ball motion is erratic, since the string constantly pulls it in different ways. Tends to go too flat very fast.
Honestly for me it was useless, I suspect the successful "rallies" people show with this device is a one in a "million" attempt, with the rest ending much more poorly.
the wall is better because its a mirror. the wall gives you what you give it. thats why most people hate the wall, especially beginners. but hey, to each is own.

Looks like a good drill for hitting trash balls.
I don't think a beginner can control the ball with this. Even an experienced player needs to take some time to adapt.
I got it from Walmart and I'm a 1yr beginner and it has worked out for me after a few days of work
I just bought one frim walmart like 3 days ago im a player who has been playing for 5 years and i still have trouble controlling this it is hard to get used too
